We need more content for these two as a couple! They bring out the best in each other☺️✨
Another what-if pair. They’d be a cute research couple discovering ancient elven artefacts and learning how they led their lives (and deaths).
#dragon age the veilguard#emmrich volkarin#bellara lutare#emmrich x bellara#emmrich / Bellara#sooobloody cute!#I feel like their relationship would be equal parts cute affectionate and kinky#and the RESEARCH PAPERS#all their colleagues would be shook at least once a week#And they mentioned so much in each other stories#Bellara even interacts with Manfred a lot#SOO CUTE#I NEED MORE OF THEM☺️✨

This thing is a month old and I. I forgor. So, yeah, rebels Thranto AU chilling with Kalluzeb!
"Hey, I said no cheatin!'" Zeb utters abruptly, leaning forward to fix a glare upon Thrawn. "Yer countin' yer cards, aren't ya? You may be the superior military strategist, but I know my cards. And you best bet I know how to count 'em." Beside him, Kallus stifles a laugh. Because of course the former Grand Admiral is counting his cards. The man has no grasp on politics whatsoever. Rules are arbitrary, laws even more so, and Kallus is willing to wager a great deal of credits that the man has never stepped foot inside a casino. "My apologies, Captain Orrelios." The response is a smooth drawl, tainted with embarrassment. "It appears I have yet to learn the etiquette of these games." "Or any etiquette at all," Eli Vanto adds from where he sits besides the Chiss, directly opposite Kallus. "For being the genius you are, you sure are stupid sometimes."

I've heard some debate over which Family the skywalkers will choose. I haven't heard much over the possibility of Vah'nya losing Third Sight, but imagine if she did. Whose Family would she choose? Ar'alani's former Family the Irizi? Her (possible) father Thrawn's? To my knowledge there aren't any Chiss she's particularly close to.
But you know what would be sweet? If she took the Family of a very close friend, of someone who swore to protect her. It would be unconventional. It would cause an uproar in the Syndicure.
Imagine if she took the name Eli'vah'nya. Ivah.

Something I noticed while listening to the Thrawn 2017 audiobook:
There’s a part in chapter 5 at Royal Imperial Academy where Eli gets all salty about Thrawn “getting through four years of military training in three months and also jumping a rank (to lieutenant) on everyone else.” And Thrawn’s like, “…Did you forget I have tons of military experience already?” This calms Eli down and he says he does indeed forget that fact sometimes.
This is wild to me because based on the new timeline information, Thrawn, who was born in BBY 59, is in his early to mid 40s at the time that he and Eli attend Royal Imperial. Eli, by contrast, is probably like 20-22 years old. (I’m basing this assumption off of Lost Stars where cadets attended Royal Imperial from age 16 to 19. I’m assuming the academy was taking younger cadets at the time of Lost Stars, and thus Eli was probably a few years older than 19 when he attended over a decade prior.) Anyways, Eli is rooming with a literal 40-something year old man — a guy who was one rank below flag officer in his own military — and he’s pissed off because the dude is Billy Madison-ing his way through Imperial naval training.
Why is Eli able to forget about their 20-ish year age gap and Thrawn’s obvious wealth of military expertise? They’re literally roommates. It seems hard to not remember this about your roommate. Is it because Thrawn looks young or because chiss age differently than humans? Is it because it’s hard for Eli to predict the relative age of an alien, especially when he’s only met one single person from the species? Is it related to Thrawn’s political naivete which makes him seems less experienced to Eli?
Why?? Because he definitely mistook this guy for someone of the same age and experience level as himself:

Maybe it’s because Thrawn put his boots on the bed. A 40 year old should know better 🙃

“Are you…ill?” Eli blurted out in disbelief. It was just so out of character for the composed, calm Chiss. But, he supposed, they weren’t actually creatures out of legend. Just another normal species. Who got sick. And needed medical care. Oh, gods.
“I am fine,” Thrawn said, voice muffled from under the blankets. If they hadn’t known each other for the past few weeks, lived together — if Eli hadn’t been studying Thrawn’s every expression for days — Eli would have bought it.

“You’re afraid of me,” Kanan said. The words caused Thrawn to wince. Maybe if he wasn’t so exhausted he would have been better prepared to deal with all of this, to mask his fear with confidence… but the thought of a Jedi… in his head… reading his thoughts… knowing how weak he was… how easy it would be for him to choke … and how helpless he would be against it.
…but the same Jedi he was afraid of was keeping Eli alive. Willingly. Thrawn winced again, trying to force himself to trust him. And at the same time, he found himself holding his breath… in anticipation. For the attack that wasn’t coming.
“You don’t have to be afraid,” Kanan said, calmly. “I won’t hurt you.”
Won’t. Not can’t.
