As much as I had to get annoyed at Vanessa being a Cack shipper, it was nice to see Vanessa toasting Jacob and Sarah's engagement like a family member while Mack was sulking with Moira. It felt a bit foreshadow-y.

Oh wait thank you for this because as soon as the Vanity scene was done I peaced out and closed the episode assuming there wasn't anything else worth seeing lmao, I didn't even see that scene! Now I have seen it and yes very sweet, the TRUE family celebration we deserve 😌 Also kinda funny that I'm complaining about them acting like Vanity were never together and joining the toast is Jai, who you would also have absolutely no clue was once married to Charity. I can only hope that one day the current marriage is as distant a memory to Charity as that one <3

And there could be fun to be had - Charity taking Vanessa to scans, people at the hospital asking Charity if she's the other mum and her enjoying telling them she's actually the great grandmother. Vanessa collapsing and needing to be rushed to hospital and Charity at her bedside. Charity smothering her making sure she's ok all the time. The relentless lack of Vanity spoilers is leading me to believe that Michelle actually just had a really vivid dream about filming some Vanity scenes the night before the soap awards that she confused for reality, and everything everyone has baited us with since then has just been based on Michelle's alternate reality

It's either that or now Charity is having second thoughts about the surrogacy, Vanessa is in fact going to step in and offer to do it instead. Would it be ludicrous to have Charity not go through with it because of concerns about it being a high risk pregnancy because of her age, and then line up someone the exact same age to do it instead??? Yes! But if Michelle didn't dream this up where else are we going at this point

Not sure I can keep actively checking spoilers and skimming episodes just to be confronted with mack's face though so I think I need to just back away slowly and have someone wake me up if and when there's something to care about 🚶‍♀️‍➡️
