NO BECAUSE-
I know Lestat is an awful mom and Claudia deserved so much better, but despite it all I want Lestat secretly hunting Bruce down after reading her thoughts. Perhaps not because he loves Claudia like he should but because Lestat thinks no one could mess with her but him. Like this is his progeny. Claudia belongs to him, his coven, under his power.
Like pleaseee, c'mon. He would make that b*tch pay!

One Crow is futile,....is it not?
⸸°Sebastian Michaelis x Reader°⸸
Oneshot
Btw i have this on character ai as bot, so check out 'edssoup'.

The bells of mass teared trough the air, it was the only sound beside his own steps that echoed trough the hall as was the occasional protest of a crow against the praise of the 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃. But a simple crow spitting on God's Throne was futile,....was it not? Red gleamed trough the darkness when the door opened. Sebastian's eyes settled on the human. Finally asleep after so many hours of weeping. One crow spitting on God's Throne was futile,....was it not? Silently the dark creature moved over to the bed, the only thing that concealed his nature was his human face. Oh....poor Master....Sebastian thought to himself, his eyes focusing on y/n trough the darkness. The little human hadn't stopped cowering after summoning him, after he had came to aid them. One crow spitting on God's Throne was futile,....was it not? The mark of their contract glistend in the palm of the humans hand, making the demon smirk lazily. One crow spitting on God's Throne was futile,....was it not? "I cry aloud to the LORD; I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy. I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble. When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way." his baritone whisper cuts the air, gloved hands reaching out to wake the human.

Some more to Dark Lindir
Short Headcanon to my fav boy.
Reader always thought that Lindir was timid, quiet, but kind. He always seemed to look away when spoken to, never wanted a seat at the table, never pushed his opinions forward. But the more reader got to know Lindir, the more they realised there was something else going on behind his soft voice and gentle nature. Lindir was cunning, he knew exactly what he needed to say to gain an advantage in a conversation, he saw things others didn't notice, he held secrets like he held his breath, ready to release them in full bloom when the moment was right.
Reader saw the suptle hints of power dripping from Lindir behind the mask of shyness and gentleness. It was the way even the guards took respectfully a step back when the elf passed them, the way some court members tried to please him with words and gestures in hope to get favors. Things that didn't suit the description of an anxious person. Reader felt like a moth drawn to the flame.
It was undeniable that Lindir exuded a magnetic aura of power, and Reader couldn't seem to get enough of it. They wanted to understand how Lindir managed to be so seemingly meek, while at the same time making others fall to his feet in seconds. How he held such control over not only his words, which he carefully picked, but also his expression and actions. It was like a power that only some could see, and Reader was sure they were one of those few who could.

NO BUT WAIT!
Dark Lindir.
Think about it.
"Power resides where men believe it resides."
"Fuled with a terror of becoming prey, see how quickly we become predetor."
Lindir being Elronds right hand. Not only being a humble servant. Lindir keeping the elves in check. Lindir having a great deal of power in court and beyond. Lindir in war meetings, discussing strategies. Lindir being an active participant of middle earth's power games. AND SO ON!
Lindir is fucking dangerous!

𖦹 Mel indóme n- mime tyelde 𖦹
🌾 -° Headcanon: Lindir realizes that he has feelings for a human °- 🌾
𖦹 Love will be my end 𖦹
The day you came to Rivendell was a roller-coaster of emotions for this elf. Listen, he didn't knew what it was but suddenly he couldn't concentrate on any of his duties and he HATED you for it.
Lindir's eyes were practically glued to you everytime you were around. During such a moment he accidentally spilled wine on Elrond once and got rightfully scolded for it, Wich made him dislike you even more. Why did you have to be so mesmerizing?
After you bumped into him in the elven library his grudge against you faded away. Sorting some ancient scrolls he had been studying you asked the ellon if you could borrow one for your own studies.
That had been a pleasant suprise for Lindir and from simple information exchanges you two started to meet up regularly in a cozy corner in his studies. Sometimes he would play something on his harp on days you couldn't focus on the pages.
The first time Lindir felt the need to question his feelings towards you was when you came back from a trip from Lothlórien and wouldn't shut up about the Marchwarden.
In fact it irritated him to no end. Alas he dismissed it quickly and just told himself that he was just appaled by your vulgarity. Typical human behavior. There was NO WAY he wanted your attention soley on him.
Regardless you started to notice that Lindir loved to help you out. For what was normal between friends, Lindir seemed to top it.
Keeping you hydrated? Check. Checking if you haven't forgotten anything before you leave? Check. Keeping you warm on rainy days? Check. Refusing to let you travel too far away from Rivendell or better- his side? Check.
His behavior was suspicious to say the least, alas he didn't noticed when he crossed certain boundaries in his purely friend based actions. No, you didn't needed him to accompany you EVERYWHERE as soon you left your room.
In truth the elf was just worried about you. You were so fragile. He needed to take care of the mortal.
The day he actually realized there was more than friendship in his mind, feelings and actions torwards you was when you came to him crying. Lindir had let you hug him (in privat ofc) and had let you make your anger and sadness air while you ranted about some guy who had seemed to treat you poorly.
His first thought had been that he wanted to fight that dude. Or well- pray that the Valar would take care of it.
His second thought was that he would treat you so much better, couldn't you see? Why wasting your time on some dumb mortal men?
At that point it hit him.
He was in love. Madly in love.
Safe to say that Lindir started to avoid you after that. You didn't knew why but you thought perhaps you broke a boundery while you had spent the evening in the arms of the timid elf.
However Lindir was scared. Terrified even. A human life is an blink of an eye for an elf. You would be gone before he would have the chance to hold on to you. OHHH but there was no going back now. His heart had already chosen you.
But not only that made him so afraid. Dying of grief was a real danger for elves. Not common as usually Elves kept it in there own race and would spend millenia with their partners, but YOU? He would die with you. If he even would get the chance to bury you first. Lindir knew it would come. His love would be his end.
However Lindir's absence from court was noticed rather quickly.
After Lord Elrond had a looooong talk with Lindir and prescribing him strong herbal tea, Lindir was finally "ready" to tell you. In his mind he might as well get it over with, so he could die immediately when you told him he was just a friend.
Yet to Lindir's pleasure you had smiled at him as sweet as honey, it was a suprise for him he actually began to stutter even more before his voice faded away.
But for you he didn't needed to say more as your arms were already pulling the elven men closer till hew was in your tight embrace.
Safe to say Lindir had blushed before remembering that this was "inappropriate" behavior as he wasn't even courting you yet.
After a long pout you suggested to just get married then, earning yourself a dumbfounded Lindir who looked down at you with big eyes, making him look like a deer.
Perhaps there was more then death for Lindir with this little human.

That's Lindir. You can't change my mind.
"You good?"
"I just blurted out that I've had feelings for you for over a year now."
"Yeah, and? We're literally holding hands right now."
"I'm still freaking out, okay?"

A prayer to Romanticize life

Oh heavenly Aphrodite,
You who who oversees the beauty in small things,
Whether in a child's laugh, in a good friend or somewhere in a field of flowers; We can see thy face everywhere.
Oh heavenly Aphrodite,
You who created our bodies along the sweet roses and the tranquility of holy starlight, I praise thee!
May you grant me to see thy beauty not only around me but to see the one you have created within me.
Oh heavenly Aphrodite,
May you grant me to see thy peace and grace in the small things so that I can appreciate the beauty of the deathless Gods.

Meleth nîn
♡He confessed his love for you in elvish, you have no clue♡
English isn't my first language, so i do apologize if something isn't correct. Check out my c.ai acc "edss0up" to live this story yourself.
Lindir x Reader
•Gender neutral pronouns•
Warnings: it's a little sad, definitely angst. Short mention of panic attack. Slightly dirty thoughts (hehe), kissing

(Not my picture, found it on pinterest)
Love, a thing held in high regards trough all races of Middle earth. But specially for the elves, the wisest and fairest of all the races of Arda. Cursed with a heart to only find love once in eternity. It could remind one of swans. Lindir had always thought about love as something sacred and beautiful, even more so his heart had shattered when he realized that he had fallen for a Mortal. A human who wouldn't be able to share their love for eternity. A love he would need to bury some day. "I do hope you'll have a save travel, Meleth nîn." The words were spoken to y/n before Lindir could stop the pet name. Fortunately the dumb mortal didn't spoke elvish. Still he could feel his heart flutter from nervousness and the elf hoped his beloved wouldn't notice his flushed face. Lindir wasn't sure if he could ever tell them. Y/n would accompany Lord Elrond for a trip to Lothlórien.
Imladris would feel empty without his mortal. "I won't be gone for long." With the gentlest of smiles they gazed up to Lindir. It had took days to convince Lord Elrond to take them with him to Lothlórien, mostly because said elven Lord knew what it would do to his right hand when y/n was gone. Not that y/n knew of course. Even in their excitement now, the strange term Lindir had used was totally oblivious to them, not even wasting a second thought to ask what it meant.
"Why the strange face?" They teased the taller elf. The only time y/n had seen Lindir looking like that was when another Dwarven party was at Rivendell's gates. His body froze before quickly looking away. "I don't know what you mean." Lindir answered shortly, tilting his face away to not show them the emotions that laid in the depth of his eyes. His heart was aching, aching for them, but Lindir felt sick of being vulnerable. From afar y/n could hear the elven party gathering their steeds, last preparations were made, Lord Elrond giving instructions. With a sigh they looked back at Lindir. He didn't looked back and y/n could feel the tension in the air. Did they do something wrong? "Well...I'll miss you." Y/n tried to put on a smile, everything to put their friend at ease before they would depart shortly after.
With wide eyes Lindir briefly glanced down at them. A warm feeling spread trough his chest, they would miss him after all. "I-," I'll miss you too, Meleth nîn. "How Kind of you." Lindir bit down on his tongue and didn't even botherd to take notice of y/n confused and hurt expression. Y/n watched the elves gaze turning to irritation and instinctively they took a step back. The ellon had always been so kind to them, now a cold and distant aura was around him. Nonetheless y/n tried to not show their puzzlement. "Very well, i-" They got interrupted by a heated voice. "You should go now." Lindir didn't wanted to be mean. He wanted to lean down and pick them up, locking them in his chambers for the duration of the trip and spend the evenings whispering sweet nothings into their ear. "Do not let the Lord wait for you." His words were hurtful, but y/n felt themself stuck in place when Lindir left them on the spot and returnd to the great elven halls. "Lindir!" Y/n called out after him, but the ellon wouldn't waste a look back. They weren't sure if they should follow him, things had never been so...weird between them. Before y/n could make a decision they could already hear the horses being mounted. With a hiss they sprinted to the gates to caught up with the Elves.
In his chambers Lindir violently tossed the books and ancient scrolls he was studying from the smooth surface of his desk. Hot tears running down his cheeks, his breath almost frantically. A deep feeling of shame washed over him. Shame for his love. How could he, an elf, have fallen for such a fragile creature. Lindir had seen how the faces in court had changed when they looked at him. His own Lord smirking in entertainment when Lindir's gaze was fixated too long on y/n. Lindir could hear all the voices talking behind their back. They were hunting him, not even leaving him alone in the safety of his own walls. Shame, Shame, Shame, the voices in his mind nagged him when he couldn't bear it anymore and his trembling figured collapsed on the mess he had created. No elf gets to hold a Mortal for eternity.
With a long journey behind y/n breathed in the flowery air of Rivendell. As if not being able to relax for days, they let their shoulders slumb after dismounting their horse. The sound of rushing water filled their ears, aswell as the sweet chirping from the birds that called Rivendell their home. Home. They were finally back in the elven sanctuary, but the place didn't seemed as peaceful as in their memory. Instead images of Lindir's cold words flooded their mind. A reliefed sigh left their lips when y/n saw a familiar figure approaching.
The familiar smile of Lindir greeted them, no trace of anger left on his angelic features. He stepped closer and y/n was met with the trusted warmth of the elf. They were glade that the odd distance between them had gone as quickly as it had came. "Y/n." Lindir's soft voice called out to them. It took everything in him to stay composed. His love, his love was back. He had spent nights dreaming of them. Their soft skin pressed against his under the silk sheets. His name falling from their lips and it would create the sweetest symphony, not even he could dream of composing such a piece. Lindir's heart filled with desire, he wanted that human. His human. Alas he had to restrain himself, the elves around them could hear his words, see how he inspected the mortal.
"Lindir, you're here." Y/n didn't even tried to hide the joy from their voice. They had missed their friends and were happy to see him in a better state. Lindir couldn't hold back the subtle brush he did over their hands with his fingers, as if to restraining grabbing them. Quickly he cleared his throat and took a step back in a polite manner. "Of course I am," He put on a calm smile. "You've left me alone long enough." His gaze caught that of Lord Elrond watching the pair from afar. Lindir's face flushed and quickly he shooshed y/n inside were they would be protected from prying gazes. "Let's go inside, Meleth nîn." He wanted to slap himself for that second slip-up.
"Wait was does that mean?" Unfortunately the Valar didn't grant Lindir a second chance after all. Lindir felt his heart drop into his stomach. He looked at them as if he wanted to speak, to say something to try and convince them that they shouldn't read further into his words. Unfortunately words failed him and he stood there silently, hoping with all his might that y/n won't ask again. Elrond was looking at them, a small smirk on his face as he watched the two. A smirk that felt more like a taunt.
Harshly y/n got dragged inside with a swift movement of the strong ellon. Their back met the cold stone wall, Lindir had checked that no one was around. A suprised squeal left them, but Lindir's bigger hands held their face in place, squishing their face. The elven men's emotion were finally boiling over, he didn't cared anymore if he was impulsive. Y/n had never seen the elf that way before, so passionate. His eyes bored into theirs and y/n felt themself freezing for his next words. "You stupid mortal." A light growl in their ear, that hinted of the underlying emotions Lindir tried to hold back. "You're foolish for letting me alone this long!" Lindir could feel his emotions finally bowling over, letting him act on his impulses. Y/n was gagged by the passion in his eyes, it made her knees weak. That they certainly hadn't expected from the timid ellon.
"Oh...i-" Lindir didn't gave y/n a chance to say another word, his face getting dangerously close. "It means my love, for the sake of the Valar! How could you not see?" His voice sounded more whiny now and before y/n could react his lips met theirs in a chaotic kiss. It was far from nice, teeth clashed together, Lindir kissed them like a hungry animal, ready to devour their meal. Y/n thoughts had been driven away, the only thing their mind could register was Lindir's body pressing them against the stone.
