I wip of Hunter and his little brother Kaine!
This is set in the future (2 years after the story starts) after Hunter gets out of the hospital and learns how to be a person again. It's one of the sweeter moments that take place and I'm so exited to color it!

HOW TO GET YOUR ACCOUNT BACK FROM RANDOM NIGHTMARE SURPRISE TERMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!
I woke up on sunday morning to find that my whole account had been terminated out of the blue. VERY DISTRESSING!!! if this has just happened to you, YOU CAN GET YOUR ACCOUNT RESTORED. the best part is, everything remains intact! your messages, asks, followers, posts, etc. don't fret!! they restored my account only a day after it had been terminated. usually, it takes one to two weeks for a response. HERE'S WHAT I DID!!!
it's important that you send a SUPPORT TICKET. don't randomly email them!!! go to https://www.tumblr.com/support and choose "terminated account" as your reason.
include the email of the account that got terminated. this makes it easier for them to recover it! if you can't send it from that email, just include it in the message.
include the following: to the best of your knowledge, you have re-read the site rules and you haven't broken any site guidelines. state how important your account is to you, and stress how thankful you are for their help in recovering it. BE POLITE. EVEN IF YOU'RE UPSET OR PISSED OFF!!!! it significantly ups your chances of being listened to. I included the phrase "I'm sure you understand the importance of this" which is corporatespeak for "FIX THIS OR SO HELP ME GOD" and that seemed to get their attention.
you can also @ support on tumblr with the issue, and @ them on another site (e.g. twitter). there's a chance they'll see and respond quicker! cover all your options. the reddit for tumblr account termination is no longer active so don't bother with that.
if they don't respond within a few days, reply to the confirmation email they sent after you sent in your request. follow up! ask for updates! reiterate the urgency of the situation! make sure you're not responding to an address with "noreply" in it!
REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS!!!! all is not lost you just gotta be STERN AND POLITE. it's terrifying to have your entire account vanish overnight but there is always hope okay. love you good luck

In the age of shiny screens and smart towers, children in Gaza are dying minutes away from 5G networks. They didn't die from a bomb, but from starvation. And worse? Their deaths weren't sudden. They took their time, day after day, atrophy after atrophy, until they disappeared, leaving only their bodies resembling life, but not living.
Where was humanity?
Where were the governments and organizations? Where are you? You who watch and grieve for a few minutes, then pass the image along like an advertisement. You who have food, medicine, and even the internet to cry out... but you remain silent.
Why are my children in Gaza dying of starvation? Not because the world is powerless, but because it chose not to see.
What is happening is an indictment of a world that has made humanity a choice, not an innate quality. An indictment of everyone who remained silent, everyone who saw and remained silent, everyone who liked the image without moving.
We don't need images that shake us... we need hearts that don't remain silent. Please share our post, my friends, maybe you can change this bitter reality and donate to us what you can. Your donation will save us from the famine that is ravaging the bodies of my young children who are now suffering from malnutrition. Believe me, I am writing to you now with a trembling heart, eyes filled with tears, and a wish that my children will survive this deadly famine. I am completely helpless and you are the ones who can save us. Thank you all and I am very sorry for bothering you.
Your friend,
Hossam Al-Qazzaz

Hey y'all -- I'm making this post on behalf of Sami and his family, who are currently suffering in Gaza. You can find their fundraiser here. I think (especially) in a time where people are experiencing so much cruelty, it's our duty as humans living in the world to try to help others the best we can. We've all wished for someone to be there for us in a time of need, and we can be that for other people.
Sami's family has a lot of young children and I ask you to please consider donating if you have the means-- even something small-- or reblogging to circulate their fundraiser. Anything helps! Thank you so, so much for even reading. FUNDRAISER.

the distinction is important bc there r cultures from other people of color that are treated with more respect and thought just bc of being distanced from blackness, the very idea of not looking black even if ur a brown person often gives u a level of humanity not given to us, its why the phenomenon of ppl loving disco and jazz from japanese ppl bc “its Cool that a not black person is doing it!” happens, its why the “novelty” of a white rapper can launch entire careers even if the white rapper in question is terrible at rap, its why a white person who decides to get dreads won’t get discriminated against the same as a black person with dreads does bc our hairstyles on us r seen as unclean and unprofessional but on you its quirky and spiritual, proximity to blackness determines so much of how things get viewed
like yes under white supremacy people of color in general get treated less than for not being white, but white supremacy also is founded on believing there is a hierarchy of the races, and that some brown ppl r inherently “better” than others, we cannot fight racism and unlearn biases if we cant be direct on who we r speaking about when talking about specific kinds of racism, if the post says black, donot say poc, say black, every black person is a person of color but not every person of color is black, acknowledging this is important

“we hate ai! which is why we are going to use a made up slur that is invoking the n word hard r instead of talking about the environmental racism ai companies are participating in that primarily hurts black communities, you dont get it i haveeee to say a word that sounds exactly like the n word to show im anti ai, im totally fighting against ai by making the brown people around me feel uncomfortable when i shout wireback on twitter!”

schizophrenic people are constantly made to be a joke or a quirky edgy meme in recent years and it actually makes me insane. psychosis as a word has become watered down last year there was people “schizoposting” people joke about hallucinating or unreality because they think its funny and god forbid an actual schizophrenic person posts about their experiences because then you get people dming you with scary images and cryptic text to try to induce psychosis like that cant fucking kill someone i hate all of you people

Hey y'all -- I'm making this post on behalf of Sami and his family, who are currently suffering from hunger in Gaza. Their fundraiser is currently at 87%. In a world where food is so abundant it's truly terrible for some people to go without. Even by donating something small, you can help someone in buying a bag of flour to make bread for their children.
If you can't donate please circulate Sami's fundraiser -- anything helps! Thank you so, so much for even reading. FUNDRAISER.

Y'all know what? I actually actively hate the type of people who refuse to communicate what they want, need or prefer because they think that doing that shit is cute. I pride myself with being adaptible and flexible and down to being anywhere, doing anything and eating anything at least once, and it's 100% no hair off my ass to do exactly whatever it is that someone else especially prefers.
But if someone is like "no I'm ok with whatever u want uwu" and what that really means is "I am capable and willing of like 3 things and I don't want to tell you what they are, you have to guess", I can assure you I am so much closer to slapping you than either of us would like. You're not being accommodating, you're refusing to cooperate. If you actually honest to god think it's more reasonable of you to expect other people to read your mind, than using words to communicate what you'd actually want, I hope you have some sort of a sudden epiphany about how batshit that is.
Like I don't care how heroic you think you're being with going "I'm happy with anything uwu" and then making it a fucking guessing game puzzle mystery to figure out why you're sad (while you keep insisting that you're ok and fine and nobody has to care about you boo hoo and you actively fight every single step of the investigation), you are being a fucking nuisance.
"But using words to say things is haaaard QmQ" well unfortunately life is fucking hard. And you are actively choosing to make it harder for everyone else. If you think that acting like this is cute, I hope the next time you'd literally rather die than verbally set a boundary, someone takes you to a seafood restaurant because you didn't want to tell them you're lethally allergic to fish.

Today, the Nazi Israeli forces shelled several journalists and civil defense personnel live on air
Today was one of the hardest day , The airstrikes hit Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis directly. The first strike tore through the fourth floor, and just minutes later while journalists and medics were trying to document and save lives ,another strike hit the same spot💔💔💔
It wasn’t just a bombing… it felt like an attempt to silence every voice, every image, every effort to show the truth from inside Gaza. Cameras were left lying on the ground, covered in dust and blood, while people around the hospital screamed, searching for signs of life.
Tumblr media
Looking back at the images after the attack, the scene was unbearable: exhausted faces, tears, bodies pulled from the rubble. The very people who always stood behind the camera became the picture themselves today.
Tumblr media
This hospital is not the first to be bombed, and these journalists are not the first to be targeted. But today carries a different weight: it feels like they’re not only destroying buildings, they’re trying to erase testimony, to switch off the image, to leave Gaza without witnesses.
..
If you can, please help my family in Gaza survive. Every little bit makes a difference🙏🥺
Our previous fundraiser, which was shut down, had raised $22,000 out of our $40,000 goal. With this new campaign, we are starting again from zero and our goal now is to reach $20,000. The new fundraiser accepts donations in multiple currencies, not only USD.🙏🥹

Further, some authors may never even find out the lawsuit is happening. The court's suggested notification scheme "would require class claimants to themselves notify other potential rightsholders," groups said, overlooking the fact that it cost Google $34.5 million "to set up a 'Books Rights Registry' to identify owners for payouts under the proposed settlement" in one of the largest cases involving book authors prior to the AI avalanche of lawsuits.
If you're an author, please use this database to see if you could qualify for that sweet GenAI lawsuit money.
I have never ever ever in my life asked someone to blaze my posts.
But if you want to throw me some pennies blaze this. I want ALL OF THE AUTHORS to know that they have the opportunities to get some sweet sweet GenAI lawsuit money.
Like to charge. Reblog to cast that Anthropic will have to pay out the ass.

One of my favorite pieces of trans theory I've read is Black on Both Sides: A Racial History of Trans Identity by C. Riley Snorton.
The title of this book is a reference to the 1999 Mos Def album, and specifically the track "Mathematics."
The song focuses on how structural racism (particularly antiblackness) functions in the United States through citing different stats and numbers-- how much money is spent on the US military, how many Americans own cell phones being surveilled, how many people have AIDS, three strikes laws, minimum wage, unemployment rates, budget cuts being funneled into more police, rates of incarceration and probation, health & economic outcomes sorted by zip codes, and so on.
The specific lines from "Mathematics" that Snorton references explicitly in Black on Both Sides are:
"Numbers is hardly real and they never have feelings But you push too hard, even numbers got limits"
The book's beating heart is concerned with the necropolitics of Black trans life, and how Black trans people are discussed, known, constructed as death statistics. How many Black trans women are murdered, how many Black trans people kill themselves.
Since reading that book, I've been listening to the song a lot. I've been thinking about how another song I listen to a lot probably took direct inspiration from "Mathematics"-- a song called "Strange Arithmetic" by The Coup.
In "Strange Arithmetic" the lyrics focus on the ways in which public education functions to socially reproduce racial capitalism to ensure submission and funnel people into (acceptance of) powerlessness. It opens with the verse:
"History has taught me some strange arithmetic Using swords, prison bars, and pistol grips. English is the art of bombing towns While assuring that you really only blessed the ground. Science is that honorable, useful study Where you contort the molecules and then you make that money. In mathematics, dead children don't get added But they count the cost of bullets comin' out the automatic."
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, especially writing fundraisers for friends in Gaza. Last week, I wrote a post for a teenager named Ahmed. Two weeks ago the Israeli military bombed a sewage line to destroy access to potable water in his area.
I googled "Gaza water news" and I saw articles discussing how often this exact tactic is used. I read analysis by a Palestinian activist, Ahmad Abushawish, titled "In Gaza, water kills too" where he outlines how the Israeli army targets Gaza's water infrastructure, blocks entry of materials for repair, and kills anyone working in the water sector.
I wrote that week about the struggle for water globally, and how control over water systems is so central to settler-colonialism. When I drink water, it is impossible for me to not think about Gaza, and Flint Michigan, and Standing Rock, and the fight over the pipeline expansion in Canada.
After months of starvation, famine in Gaza was officially declared. I read the news. The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations says 98.5% of cropland in the Gaza strip is destroyed or inaccessible in militarized zones. The World Health Organization says that 100% of people in Gaza now suffer acute levels of food insecurity.
Israel mobilizes to occupy the remainder of Gaza. Al-Jazeera reports that 86% of the Gaza strip is now either a militarized zone, under forced evacuation, or both at once. This is where Ahmed is living. This is where his family's damaged tent is.
Ahmed messages me. He tells me, "the army is approaching our area, there are sounds of bombing, and we feel hungry."
Everything is statistics. Everything is deeply, viscerally personal. Everyone is a number.
"But you push too hard, even numbers got limits"
