Some days not even an awesome new headband can make a hated workout fun. Gave it my all, hated every minute, and didn’t get the post-workout high I usually do. It sucked. But you know what? I don’t regret doing it. I know I’ll be stronger for it. You won’t want to do it every day. Doing it anyway is what makes you stronger because nothing truly worth it is easy. Enjoyed my run this morning more than my lifting workout! Who am I??? I’ve always hated running... Just proves I can change anything if I set my mind to and follow through. Our last Broadway Date Night before we are Mr. & Mrs. was absolutely perfect! We got all dressed up, ate dinner at a fancy and delicious tapas restaurant, and saw one of my favorite musicals. Only thing that could've made it better would have been not choosing to cheap out on seats. It was an experience, but you'll find us in the Orchestra from here on out. It's SOOO worth the extra cost. Did yesterday's practice right before bed. Today I did it first thing. Both were a case of when it Fit my schedule combined with how I felt when I woke up (still sick...). I'd really love to settle on one time, but both have so many benefits! Thinking I might add 10-15 minute practice before bed as a permanent thing to workout the stress of the day before sleep.

Started a 3 week yoga program tonight. Surprised myself by getting fully into the first pose pictured! I didn't think I could hit the mat with my hand. I can't believe how stiff I'm feeling - muscle soreness from lifting yesterday aside. So excited to see what the next three weeks will bring! Forced to take another couple days off due to yet another illness. So glad I'm well enough to be back at it! Still have 2 workouts with The Beast to make up this week, but I'm super excited to start 3 weeks of yoga tomorrow! I've been sick and stressed so much lately with wedding stuff, that I think my body deserves this break from intensity. Looking forward to the dead simple meal plan, improving my flexibility (which has never been great), and taking some time to center myself as I head into the final days of wedding planning (13 days!!). New accountability group starts tomorrow! 📲

This was the hardest workout I've ever done and not just because I'm a bit sick. Legs were burning and muscle soreness kicked in before I even finished! Favorite part? Being the only woman in the gym until I was wrapping up AND the only one lifting heavy! 💪💪💪 The boys were taking it slow on the cardio equipment!

#bujo spreads for September! Added a color key to my Hydration Log and a new Accomplishment Log this month. Hoping to make tracking my hydration more fun and see what I'm drinking throughout the day.
