Rook played the organ, the notes swelling and echoing through the vast temple, filling every corner with their resonance. Elgar’nan watched from the shadows, leaning against the cool stone wall.

"You’re incredible," he murmured. "It feels as if the whole building… is alive."

"Because it is," she replied, her fingers never faltering. "That’s why I love this instrument. It’s not easy—it demands your whole body—but this sound… it’s worth everything."

"How does it work?" The question came from just behind her, closer than before.

She hadn’t even noticed him move.

"Do you want me to teach you?" she asked, turning—only for his fingers to weave into her hair before she could finish.

He pulled her to him, and when their lips finally parted, he whispered:

"Teach me."

Angel of Music

I have a headcanon that my Rook is a bard. The Veilguard squad often finds her playing various instruments—usually smaller ones like the lyre or lute. But her all-time favorite? The pipe organ.

She keeps returning to that old temple, the one Elgar’nan once brought her to after their wedding. But now, she is free. Truly free. And that mesmerizing sound? It’s worth everything.

"It brings... memories," she murmured, hearing Emmrich’s footsteps on the stairs.

Coronation

This evening, he crowned her in front of all the Evanuris. She had risen from being his slave to his consort.

He took Mythal's crown and placed it upon Rook's head, she was wearing Mythal's ceremonial robes because he demanded it.

"The Consort of the Sun!" the crowd cheered, raising their glasses of wine in celebration.

Mythal was furious but powerless to act. Rook noticed how she gripped Fen'Harel's hand, her nails digging deep into his flesh. Both could do nothing but watch as Elgar’nan carried off his newly married "pet."

They left the ceremonial hall and made their way to their private chambers. He opened the door and gestured for her to enter first.

"The Consort of the Sun," he whispered in her ear, his voice low and possessive. "You are my wife now, Rook."

His hands found her waist, his fingers eager to untie the elaborate robes.

"When you bear my child, I will ascend you as a goddess," he murmured, slipping the fabric from her shoulders.

"But you are already a goddess," he continued, his tone reverent yet insistent. "And that is how I will treat you tonight."

Her hands moved toward the crown, intent on removing it, but he caught them firmly, halting her.

"The crown stays," he commanded, his gaze piercing. "I want to look at you wearing it."

I may be villains enjoyer, but Emmrich is Rook only true love. What a man he is... I always had a weak spot for soft doms.

His "slow... deep" makes me weak. Is it the way you talk in bed, sir?

Everything else was just a survival. Polyamory would work, if Elgar'nan wasn't such tyrannical, possessive bastard. And he wants to destroy the world.

Consort of the Sun

The day before the ceremony, he removed her markings. It was his vallaslin that she had gained in her youth. She had tried to cover it with another tattoo after learning what a tyrant he was, what monsters the Evanuris were.

He saw his mark on her face anyway.

"My consort can't be marked like a slave," he said.

She was kneeling before him, just as she had in those years of worshipping him as her god. This time, it was different. A vortex of magic surrounded them, his hands gently caressing her face.

"Ar lasa mala revas," he said.

But she was not free. Tomorrow, he would marry her. He would crown her with the same crown Mythal had once worn.

She would become the new All-Mother in the new empire he was building.

Unless she stopped him. The clock was ticking...

So… I gathered my thoughts.

I’m sorry, Rook x Elgar’nan enjoyers - I’m too weak for full non-con. But they are still toxic as hell trying to manipulate and make another fall in love. She just wanna buy enough time to stop him from conquering the world and escape to her true love. He wants her as his slave/consort (depending how she behaves) and restore Evanuris with her, as his All-Mother, once empire is reborn. As he said, it will be her redemption.

But I got another idea…I want to make this into long series. There are some scenes that I think there are missing, specially with romanced Emmrich, because I refuse to believe that coffin scene was their first time.
