Eleanor, I thought I might see you putting in a response. I am aware of your position on these matters, and of course I am sure you are aware of how our opinions differ when it comes to things like these. I said I welcomed all opinions, and of course I stand by that, and I appreciate you taking the time to respond and share your thoughts. I know that things like this should be commonplace still, based on your own beliefs, however the time has come I believe to examine things under the lense of as they are now. That aside, even if we were still operating under the old laws, I would possess the same concerns. Mental state is an important thing to consider, Eleanor. Even under the old laws. If you’ll remember dear, the old ways denoted that submissives were to receive any treatment thought appropriate by the Dominant, provided that no lasting damage was done- damage which might prevent them from serving other Dominants. Correct? Consider that in this situation, the question is whether or not that line is being crossed. That is a large consideration, and warrants at the very least a check-in. If she is unable to serve another Dominant at the end of this, whatever that is and whenever that is, is that not a detriment in your eyes and under your beliefs?

“Submissive mental health” is a joke, to borrow words from our very own old, dear Headmaster. There is no such thing as “submissive mental health.” You don’t ask a couch if it’s feeling okay, you don’t ask a slave either. It is absolutely absurd. And that specific law pertained to physical damage. The only constraint on a Dominant’s actions were that they could not cause lasting physical damage if it was going to stop them from serving Dominants in the future. There is no such thing as mentally not being able to serve. I see all of her skin intact, all of her bones are in one piece. She can walk. She can write. She can lift things. There will be no lasting physical damage, she is not in a wheelchair or otherwise infirmed for life. I’m sure her tongue is still inside of her mouth, but even that isn’t exactly a requiremen to serve. She’s fine. The only thing wrong with her is her attitude. Any part of her that isn’t fine is the exact purpose of the punishment. Anyone asking whether we need to bow to her pride and ego by ending the punishment before it’s done simply because she “can’t handle” what she rightfully deserves is as childish as she is. To say that we should petition to end a punishment simply because she is too prideful to follow the terms of the punishment is silly. What lesson would be learned in that? The fact that there is still pride left to hold her back from following the terms of the punishment proves that this should be ever more difficult for her. There is nothing stopping her from serving a Dominant and to offer such as a theory with doe eyes is silly to me. As I previously stated, she still has two arms and two legs. Both are functioning. Nothing is stopping her from serving other Dominants. In fact, if you ask me, that ego and pride that is stopping her from doing what she is told is actually what is causing her to stop functioning and this punishment is meant to remove the ego and make her an actually useful member of society. Someone that won’t make inflammatory posts just for the attention. Someone that won’t ask for punishments that she “can’t handle.” Someone that won’t foolishly disregard the tools she has at hand because of an ego or pride that she has no right to have in the first place. She is a wrench, a hammer, a nail, a stool. Do you ask your hammers if their mental health is in check? Do you act as though a hammer is incapable of being a hammer after a particularly difficult task? Do you reach out to stop your fellow Dominants from using their own hammer because you don’t agree with how they’re using they’re using it? This is all absolutely absurd, I can’t stand the level of coddling the students at this academy provide to those that act like fools and then we wonder why so many still act like children. If a person reaches their hand into the mouth of a tiger while grabbing it by the hair and yelling in its ears and their hand gets bitten off, do we blame the tiger? Or do we tell the person to stop trying to bully tigers and hope the bite taught them the lesson?

Good evening, fellow students of TGA. I felt that it was pertinent I address and make a formal statement regarding the goings-on we are seeing around campus lately. First, I want to assure that I am in no way overlooking or ignoring what is taking place. Beyond the concern for Genevieve, what is playing out before us calls attention to a core issue since the changing of the laws- how far is too far? What is the definition of consent? How far does consent carry when the sanity of the actions are called into question? Each of these are important parts of this situation, and ones I have seen many of you calling out to have addressed. When the laws changed, and this new way came about, it was known that we, as a society, would run into problems just like this one. With two clearly defined ways of thinking and so many supporters on each side, definitions blur. And, as we all know from simple day to day living, the laws have never been what any could call black and white. Life brings grey area. Now, I am aware that this submissive has consented to a harsh punishment, and via my own memory and thoughts I have heard and read from others, it is clear this person enjoys the harsher side of punishments. That alone is not anything which should be judged. However, the question becomes how far consent goes when again, the sanity of the consent is in question. 

Genevieve consented to harsh, but did she consent to cruel? And if she did, was this what she was expecting? If it wasn’t, how comfortable and/or sane is she at this point to be trusted to continue giving consent? These are all questions we should be asking, on both sides of the fence. As the Crown Princess of England, my beliefs on and support of the new ways are no secret. With that in mind, I must publicly state at this point that I am in full disagreement with what is happening. At this time, I offer an open door and a listening ear to any who want to further discuss the topic, and what it means for the future of our society. I give my word that I will focus my efforts and energy into making sure that all parties are satisfied, and that this event is able to come to a hasty and peaceful resolution.

I want to extend my sincerest apologies to those who feel that members of any other royal family, including my own, have chosen to disregard and overlook what is happening. I can understand the frustration surrounding that, as this is the very thing our families and we ourselves are called to deal with directly by birth. I refuse to take a backseat and I refuse to bury my head in the sand. This is a difficult landscape for us all, and these divides must be discussed and paid attention to if we have any hope of moving forward in a peaceful and ethical society. I welcome all thoughts and respectful discussion from all. And, I urge those involved and those directly affected (which in reality should be all of us) to reach out to me. Let me know how I can help, beyond the ideas I already have. Hearing everyone, no matter your opinion or side of the fence, is imperative to anyone in a leadership position. I will not discriminate, even if I disagree personally with what you are saying. I am here for each of you, and I will do my best to be here for Genevieve, to help in any way I am able, to see that this ends in the best way possible for all parties.

As the Princess of Ireland and so far, the individual student that has put in the most time and work towards bettering our landscape here, I find this post and the sentiment to be a complete waste of time. Nobody has done anything wrong, except for Genevieve who disrespected the entire academy and our world as a whole, and that situation is being satisfactorily and mundanely rectified. Honestly, the only thing I’d change is seeing everyone that has had anything negative to say about the way these Dominants chose to handle being directly disrespected for no apparent reason be punished as well. It’s simply another day ending in y.

What that means for all of you is that we’ve reached the part of this process where you all take a look at the names listed below and then send your vote in by responding to this to keep the votes organized and easy to find. You may either vote publicly or through a private response. 

May the best of each mark win. And of course, for all those that did not get the chance to run this time or do not win, there will be another election coming soon. This is a call out post for all my Soccer Club members! We’ve got all these nifty Club Challenges going on, so you all had to know what was coming. This week, we’re going to be focusing on COORDINATION. This skill is one that is really important to how the game of soccer itself is played. Having good coordination is an important part of being able to move, sweep, kick, and continue to keep the game moving, while scoring points and blocking your opposing team. So, this week I’m asking everyone to take the time to work on specific activities that target coordination as a skill! If you need ideas, come and talk to me. But, a few suggestions to get you started are playing hackeysack, tossing a ball or a balloon, doing balancing exercises- even something as simple as balancing a stack of books on your head twice this week for five minutes. Whatever you do, let me know and post those pics and vids on social media! This could be a fun thing to get everyone involved in, even if you’re not a member of the team. We could all do with a little coordination now and again!

YOGA CLUB CHALLENGE #1

A bright and early morning to you all! Yes, it is 5:00 AM, which may seem a little insane to some, but really the early mornings are some of the best times for yoga! More on that a little later, in another post. For now, I want to focus on the most exciting part of the morning- the Yoga Club’s very first Weekly Challenge- Flexibility! I know that we’re all at different stages, and in different places with our yoga, and that’s totally okay! That’s actually what makes flexibility such a great challenge to start with! I think we all know what flexibility is, so I won’t bore you all with a textbook definition, but I want anyone who participates in this challenge to make a post letting me and everyone else know that you took on the #flexibilitychallenge! I want to note that this will likely look different for everyone, and that’s okay! To some, this challenge may be  met by going a little further down or across doing stretches. For some this may look like back bends. And to others, it may look like nailing that King Danger pose! No matter what it looks like for you, I invite all who are interested to participate in this challenge! Anyone with questions, please know I’m here to help in whatever way you may need! I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone’s challenges!
