It's here! (Do you like the new cover??) After nine months, the chapter has finally come. This one took me a long time. I outlined and re-outlined and outline some more. There's something Sisyphean about writing an IF and there were long stretches where it felt like the end was never coming. This was definitely a set-up chapter aka it sets up a lot for chapter 5 and beyond when it comes to the routes and upcoming dramaaaa so I'm excited to see everyone's theories and thoughts on all of the breadcrumbs I drop in this one. I'm really thankful that I worked on Chapter 5 alongside of Chapter 4 because that means Chapter 5 won't take so long to come out! I'm excited for that yippeee! One thing to note: I usually leave the lyric options to the end but I couldn't come up with them this chapter. At all. Like for over a month I just couldn't. I am cashing in my "this is a wip" card and forcing a type-in. (It'll be fixed in chapter 5).

A change to note: Attached/Detached are no longer change options but they are now variables and in the stat page. As well as being negative/positive. It didn't make much sense to have the second one because jaded/ambitious does that job and I wanted the attached/detached markers to fluctuate for future story reasons.

There are new stats:

Approachable/Aloof ✮

Leader/Member ✮

Camaraderie ✮

Born Star ✮

I wanted to focus on the celebrity/famous/botb/band part of it because those stats feel meaningful and important compared to generic personality stats. Some have been taken out but not completely. They are still being measured in the background for flavor text. Stats like Loved and Born Star don't change as often as they are dependent on the changes of invisible stats. They will make more sense in the future chapters !

thank you!! and yes I do!! im just playing through the entire demo to make sure everything works/shows up. As I mentioned in my last author update I fixed the stat page and stuff so I just want to make sure there's nothing breaking anything. (the Blake variable traumatized me)

Once I finish that, I'll be posting it !

Hellooo December! Christmas and New Years are my favorite times of the year so I'm really pumped. I get super productive and hyper near the end of the year so I'm hoping that translates into writing lol (Usually people relax, no? I'm the opposite. I'm always convinced I'm going to change my life in like a month before the next year commences).

Chapter 4 is going well. This month I'll likely be dropping the sneak peek and hoping to test and release chapter 4 at the beginning of the next year. I've also been chipping away at chapter 5 so that's fun. There's also another thing I want to release in December but I won't say it until I'm pressing publish on that so as not to repeat history…lol

November was spent writing that chapter and planning out the next. I suck at keeping track of word counts and things I've done and achieved so I never have actual concrete data for you guys sorry lol but yeah, that's all I've been doing.

DOMUS "MOON" ROSE

"Domus Rose, commonly known as "Moon," is the lead singer of the band Earthbound which has been making it's rounds as one of the most shocking bands to arrive on this year's Battle of the Bands."

Domus, a transgender 27 year old man, goes by the stage name "Moon." Having had a falling out with his former best friend, Seven Lawless, he now lacks a proper view on why he should continue music, having started for Seven in the first place.

EARTHBOUND's name was created by Seven and Domus, having wanted their stage names to match and be the "Sun" and "Moon." Unfortunately, only the Moon is left.

EARTHBOUND makes a variety of music, often mixing genres together in their albums. They have also released solo albums for every member of the band that show off their skills.

The members of the band do not coordinate their outfits, opting to instead show off their individuality whilst still blending together with their music.

Now on tour and bunking with Soft Violence, fans are wondering just how Domus and Seven will deal with the forced proximity?

finally finished this thing in time for seven's birthday.... domus and seven 🙁...

tidbits and fun facts on this: - seven (younger) has longer hair bc i like to think he cut it after they broke off from each other (the whole thing that "hair holds memories") - domus sewed on the sun pattern on seven's headband without telling him he did it by hand, which is why he still wears it - they have a big ass sun/moon dynamic...seven being the sun and domus being the moon
