Had a rare building excursion a few weeks ago so may I present to you Llama Llama Bing Bang Dorms in LFT where I've moved Gunnar into!

I'm not a natural builder but I am pretty happy with the decorating aspect of this. I haven't done all the bedrooms but I wanted to show off the common areas. We kick off with the lobby which features a little deco reception area, two impromptu group study spaces, a little coffee kiosk (my fave little corner of the building lol) and an art instillation space I started decorating but ran out of steam (This will be a running theme of this post...)

The second floor features a common room with tv space, pool area, a little corner for board games and just chilling and a little kitchenette for some late night ramen and coffee. Looking at it in pics, I do think I defo need to add more mess clutter. Left over shoes, chinese food cartons etc. but I think its p cozy for the minute. The shelves I do intend to clutter up completely but kinda like the idea of each student who ends up staying there 'donating' something that speaks to their personality so I'm hoping to fill it up gradually (why yes, this is another example of running out of ideas/steam lol)

And top floor is the canteen which I also really love and looks really cute at night. I opted for the cafeteria thingo because I do remember on @jodeliejodelie's uni makeover builds saying she didn't like the stove that spawns the canteen worker and it spawned an epiphany in me that I also really hate it 😳 lol but the dormies were just eating fast food on a loop (just going back for tray after tray after tray...), so I had to intervene and begrudgingly swap back to that stove for the health and arteries of the non-controllable dormies lol so if you see a subsequent pic of this canteen and its changed, that's why lol.

And just some over headshots of each of the common areas because why not. Definitely need some more cluttered items for the 'lived in' look but I might quit while I'm ahead because this lot runs p well. No pink flashing so far!

And two final shots of some of the residents! First one is Gunnar and a dormie who's name escapes me and some dormies, enjoying their 3rd tray of junk food lol

I was really torn for which hair to replace this with. There were so many good, half up/half down options! But this won out in the end and I've just realised the little braid makes it match my alpha option pretty well too lol I made like 1757584 diff mistakes defaulting this so please tell me if there's any weirdness, I've hopefully smoothed them all out now though! | CF - AF // 13k poly

Erm, an announcement?

Hello, hi. Erm as the 'moodlet' above implies I am pregnant 😊 (you don't know how many pics I had to go through before I found a positive one. TS4, yall love your drama 🙄) I wanted to mention here just in case my pregnancy makes more a little more absent than usual and of course after I have the baby, my assumption is I might be away for a prolonged amount of time. For the minute though, I want to keep creating and posting as normal, (I wanted to get another set of hair packs up this week next week but that's feeling less and less likely 🙃) but I don't know what the next 6 months (+ 18 years I guess? lol) will look like so just wanted to give a heads up.

I hope you guys are having a lovely weekend and its less hot where you are sheesh...

Hello! Some responses to some comments from my first two hair packs (super stoked they went down so well!)

This was in relation to clay pack 1

@narcysims The dress is this sentate ethel dress by @kaluxsims (shout out to @eleysims. I was the one who sent you the wcif on anon. hi I am very shy lol)

@effiejae my head has defo been turned 👀 lol I'm defo going to be mixing and matching with both styles a lot more going forward

@narcysims The dress is this servegrilledcheese’s cordelia by @platinumaspiration paired with 70s Laced Platforms by @pforestsims. Combining these into a full outfit remains a dream of mine once I stop being so afraid of milkshape lol

I include this with an apology because I meant to give a big heartfelt thank you to @goatskickin or I absolutely wouldn't have been able to start this project, so thank you thank you thank you 😊 thank you to the lovely simblrs I used for the alpha hairs and to the mesh creators and convertors too.

So, I said back on... Feb second, I was planning to do both a clay hair default project alongside my normal defaulting. Almost four months later, I finally have something to show for it 😂

So! I plan to release small packs of hair defaults at a time (shout out to @platinumaspiration for doing all of them in one go, on top of converting them, these first packs took me sososo long lol), one clay pack, one alpha: The clay pack will be all new hairstyles, the alpha pack will be a mixture of new styles I haven't done and any updates of styles I've done previously (updating meshes, textures, if I used a non-pooklet version, adding extra ages etc). I'm going row by row of the default database, more or less to give myself a structure. I'm uploading the packs in one RAR but the files are individual so you can mix and match with your existing defaults.

I think that's everything! Hopefully, now that I've started, the next set of hair defaults won't take so long 😂 Downloads will be in my next two posts! Happy Sunday guys, I hope you've all had a great week 😊
