hey y’all, i’m transgender, and as much as i appreciate the ‘i stand with you’ thing that’s being passed around, if you want to make a difference, i’d way rather y’all donate 5 bucks to the transgender law center, which provides resources to make advances for transgender policies and laws. not to be bitter, while the sentiment of reblogging a flag is appreciated, it does end up feeling hollow.

hey y’all !!!  sorry to disappear like that, but here’s the low-down .

i’m having a little bit of a medical emergency right now .   so basically, for the last few years, i’ve had very crippling, very chronic and frequent migraines  ( starting around 2012, 2013 ) and i went to a doctor in 2014, who requested that i have an mri done on my head to see what kind of activity could be seen around there.   a few weeks after the mri was done, my doctor called and told us that the mri scan was NORMAL and that was that.   she blamed my migraines on my diet and generally just cast it aside.   WELL NOW,  three years later, i’ve gone to see a new doctor, who specializes in general care and with chronic conditions  ( like migraines ) and during the transfer of information, she received the mri scan from my previous doctor.   what my new doctor told us is that on the mri scan, there was a thickening on my pituitary gland, aka it wasn’t normal, aka quite possibly a tumor. so i was scheduled for a contrast mri a week ago, and i just got the results yesterday.   there is, in fact, an enlargement on my pituitary gland, and it’s more than likely a tumor, or some other health issue thing.   i don’t know when, but SOON i’ll be going to see an endocrinologist / someone who specializes in pituitary gland issues, and possibly a neurologist.   this is frightening to me, because while it could easily be the cause of the migraines, it could be the cause for a lot of my mental and other health issues, as well as the start of OTHER health issues that i could face.   i’m p nervous while writing this and ????   i may not be around very often because of this.   i’ll definitely be queuing up my personal, but other than that i’m going to probably become a little bit of a ghost.   the timing of this is just fuckin awful, but REALLY !!!!!   some support would be very nice, because i’m honestly ???  feelin alone and scared in this endeavor .
