There are some people who take their lives with the intention of remaining dead forever. They are positive that they never want to return to earth, nor do they wish to make peace with those they left behind. There are some people, on the other hand, who do it on impulse. Whether they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or simply overwhelmed with emotions, they regret their decision to end their life and wish to return back to their home. Endless is a place for both of these people. Endless is a world for those who have committed suicide. Though the intentions of this place were so that those who took their lives could stay for a short while and then return after realizing the magnitude of what they had done, and change it, people began to prefer their afterlife in Endless more than living on earth. These people are known as the Permanents, because they have made a pact never to leave Endless. They are enchanted by its picturesque, carefree atmosphere, considering that it's a better place than the life they so yearned to escape from before. But, there are also those known as the Temporaries, who wish to have a second chance at life, realizing that suicide was a mistake. There is constant arguing going on between the groups, since the only way for the Temporaries to return to earth is if they convince all of the Permanents to come with them. You see, it all started with two people, a man and a woman. They were the two that began the Temporaries and Permanents, after discovering that for one of them to leave, they both had to. The girl had made a mistake in killing herself and wished to reconcile with her family, but the boy was sure that he wanted to remain in Endless, as far away from his previous life as he could. When the girl tried returning home, though, she couldn't. It started a pattern, and the rest ...

Since me and Leigh have been very busy, this RP is going to be put on hiatus. That doesn't mean we aren't going to revamp it, but it probably won't be for a couple of weeks. Hi, it's me again. I just noticed that there seems to be more guys taken than the girls? And I really am interested in joining this RP group so I just wanted to say, though I know I've made a few FC requests, I would definitely apply for a Kaya Scodelario one, if you're thinking of using her? A Permanent, hopefully? I do really love the idea of this and am really keen on joining. It's a brilliant idea and needs to have more people join it. :D
I know we've been lame admins for a while, but we are both pre-occupied with other things lately :/ sorry about that! I'm not sure if we will use her, I'll have to talk to Grace about it. If not I'm sure we can definitely work something out with a good fc for you! Thanks! -Leigh

Character Desired: Melody Carter
Sample: Melody stood back, examining the painting she had just begun on the wall of her hut. Eventually she planned to have all four walls done. The ceiling too if she could reach it. Currently it was a swirl of pinks and yellows and oranges eventually it would become a sunset... or a sunrise. Her hands still dripping with paint, Melody rubbed her nose with the back of her hand before glancing around the room for something to clean her hand off with.
"Note to self," she said cheerfully. "Make paintbrushes."
Eventually she gave up and wiped the paint onto her jeans. It wasn't as if they'd never been covered in paint before. There was a sound, off in the distance, that sounded like a squeal of delight. Melody glanced out of the small window of her hut and from her place high in the trees could just make out a group of people leaping into the water. She smiled to herself, left the beginnings of her painting to dry and went to join in the fun.
((It occured to me as I finished writing this, that there would be no paint in Endless? Would she need to make some?))

Could you maybe make a temporary who had a suicide pact with one of her close friends who convinced her life wasn't worth it for some reason and then she realized after she got to endless that she shouldn't have done it?
That was similar to the plot I had written up for one of the characters in the drafts :) I'll see what we can do! Come off anon, though D:
