There's definitely overlap though, especially when planning out the scale of objects and theming of any given level.

Started Solar Ash the other day (fun so far!) and I can't remember other games that permanently reduce your health after every boss fight like this game does.
It's definitely a good incentive to get all the red collectables to upgrade your health in order to counter it.

Got Mortal Kombat 1 as a gift recently! Going from Street Fighter 6 to MK1 is taking some getting used to but I'm already glad that you can break out of a combo at the expense of a full bar/meter. Can't remember if it worked the same way in Killer Instinct

Alright, let's see how this looks once it's posted! (Currently looking a bit blurry in preview) Started Swordtember late but have Day 5's Fairy prompt done here! I just turned the fairy from Zelda into the guard and went from there lol Was a bit torn between doing a 64x64 sword in the Kenney Shape program (which is fun and easy to use) or actually doing a sword in blender but I have to remind myself that I'm doing this for fun and don't wanna spend too much free time learning something more involved yet haha

After playing many online matches in SF6, I've noticed that many players tend to unleash a Drive Impact right after I do. It's like they forget it's an option until they're reminded by my action.
I wonder if it's bc they're still experimenting? Too many options to remember? etc

Playing Street Fighter 6 and realized it would be cool to have a mode where you can't see the HUD elements, so either can't see your health and special bars, the opponent's or both! Could even change between rounds too.
Would definitely raise the suspense during matches.
