LOK Series Rewatch | 1.03 - The Revelation

Mako and Bolin look for ways to attain the thirty thousand yuans they need in order to be eligible to compete in the Pro-bending Tournament. Bolin accepts work from the Triple Threat Triad and subsequently disappears. Korra and Mako go looking for Bolin and encounter the group of chi blockers who had kidnapped him, but the Equalists flee. Korra and Mako later find out about an Equalist rally and decide to attend it. There, they learn many secrets about the Equalists and their leader, Amon, and rescue Bolin from his otherwise doomed fate.

As far as I know, up until now there was no Equalist!Asami Irosami art. Truly tragic. There's so much potential in that AU. Huge thanks to @alduade-art for helping bring this dynamic to life. Can't you tell they love each other?! Er, eventually.

This movie's going to mean a lot of things to a lot of different people over the years. To me, when I watch this movie, I'm going to think about these months I spent with all of you. I spent with you, and the works that we did, but more importantly, the moments that we shared. But most of all, bringing amazingly level of commitment and excitement to making this awesome film. Thank you guys so much, every one of you, from the bottom of my heart.

One of the great triumphs of David Coronswet’s Clark is that Superman looks strong and wise and compassionate and friendly but also put-together and competent, meanwhile his Clark Kent looks like someone who would staple his tie to the desk but you’re not sure whether he did it by accident or intentionally to make you laugh
