Thirty Days of Character Development - Day 3
Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don't have any, is there a reason?
Erica has always been a careful kind of person, making sure that she didn't get into too much trouble. With her cautious nature, Erica has no reason to be sporting any scars.

The morning hadn't been particularly busy; there had been a few customers here and there, but nothing that kept her on her toes for too long.
Hearing the small bell that was attached to the door chime, she gave a smile to the one that had entered.
"Good morning," she greeted.

"I guess some days can be like that," she replied with a smile as she prepared the customer's coffee. "'m just lucky that I don't really have to work with anybody that I don't enjoy." The same didn't stand for some of the customers (there was always going to be one or two that was annoying or just ill tempered), but a lot of them were just coming and going; most of the regular customers were older citizens and weren't of any trouble whatsoever.
She passed the coffee over to the other woman once she had finished making it. "Do they, uh, usually make you feel like this?"

Turning on heal, Beverly rushed into the shop, her face spotted with red and a dangerous glint in her eye. The conversation with Jack had left her unusually out of control of her emotions. The topic of Will had that effect anymore.
Looking up at the voice that had addressed her she tried to clear her mind, attempting a smile “Yes,sorry” closing her eyes a moment she took a deep breath, softening her smile and continuing “Work, well certain person at work, yeah just work” she gave a small laugh and ordered a coffee.

Erica smiled to the woman as she took the money and put it in the register. The action would have elicited a simple thank you if they had not been mid-conversation.
"You're welcome," Erica responded as she pondered over the customer's predicament. "I didn't think it'd be right t' let you go on with your problems when you seem so... Troubled by it." She continued to think about it before she answered. "Well, I don't know either of you very well so maybe it'll... Blow over with time?" at least, that was the very least they could hope for.
Coffee Stains || Closed
Letting out a bitter laugh that was more of a sharp exhale, Maya nodded, looking up at Erica with a bemused grin.
"Yeah, I guess. That’s one way of putting it," she said tiredly as she took the drink, giving the woman the amount she was due plus a small tip. Then, taking a deep breath, she shook her head, biting her lower lip. "Something wrong? Yeah, you could say that," she conceded, rubbing her eyes before bringing the coffee to her lips and taking a sip. "Christ, that hits the spot…"
And then, with a soft sigh, “Thanks for asking, by the way. It’s just, well, I’m on shaky ground relationship wise, and I’m not really sure how I got there. Doesn’t help that she’s my boss, either.”

That was strange; somebody sitting motionless on the ground outside the apartment building. That wasn't something she had ever seen before, nor did she ever expect to see again. Perhaps it was some kind of publicity stunt. With that thought in mind, she looked around, not seeing another person in sight, before she knelt down before the individual and read the sign she had noticed only moments prior.
Whether it was a publicity stunt or not, there was no harm in going along with it, right?
If she were to give them a name, it may as well be one that she was familiar with.
"Uh... Alice?" was she supposed to say it out loud? She thought she was supposed to, it would only make sense. It wasn't as though she'd look stupid, since there wasn't really anybody around other than her and the person she was addressing.
Potential New Owners (+7 New Followers (from what I remember!) and also an Open RP!)

The young woman with no name sat motionless in front of someone’s home, eyes fixated on the floor, her short cream-coloured silk dress splayed out around her with the marble sign on a necklace around her neck that stated: "If you give me a name I come to life I will serve you eternally Until my name dies.”
