You raise your head to look at him. He smile at you with his oh so famous smile that made everyone in Monstadt swoon over him.

He wipe your tear away as he caress your cheek, reassure you in the process.

He's just there because you were the perfect opportunity that come in the live time to get.

The knights have been suspicious of your family since how long he can remember it but fortunately they have a pretty naive child.

Now crying in his arm, seeking for his comfort. Telling him that they're having a really hard time dealing with a problem in the family.

And he's here to make good use of your situation.

But he never know the consequence of his mistake.

The mistake that he though as the big opportunity but it actually his big mistake that turn Monstadt upsidedown.

The blood was smear everywhere in the city of freedom. The people were running toward the church for safety while the knights deal with the abyss and the hilichurls.

Even though the city have a great security, these monsters got through it with ease as if they were one step ahead of them.

In the middle of the chaos he could clearly hear someone's clapping their hand as if this is a show and a steady footstep getting closer to him.

As he turn his head toward the source of the sound does he realize it.

"We meet again, Mr. Knight." Their voice is full of hatred yet cheerful and the smile they put obviously mocking him.

"Thanks to you I finally get what I want." You said with a smile painting your lips.

"Is this what you were seeking for?!"

"Did you know the person who's suffering here is everyone!"

"Why would you do something so cruel like this?!"

Some of the monstadter shout in protest. The smile that once adorning your face now gone.

But you laugh at them. This only fuel the anger inside the people of Monstadt.

One of them dare to attempt to throw a rock at you but not even a second later their arm was lying on the ground.

"Oh my, *chuckle* you don't have to do that." You said while wiping your tear away.

"I just can't stand it." The blond said as he take one of your hand and kiss it.

"You're too kind, Aether." You said.

Both of you don't even mind the cry from the person who's just lost their arm because of Aether's blade.

"It's ironic isn't it, Mr. Knight?" Their voice ring in the Captain's head.

A flash of the past flash before him.

There he stand looking at them getting a lot of hatred stare by everyone else. He can hear the people gossiping about them but he didn't do anything.

Until, the opportunity come.

He fail to see the little mischievous smirk she wear once she fall into his arms.

He chuckle to himself. Earning a weird stare from the other knights.

He admit his defeat.
