“Its a weird thing, huh? Its kinda hard to put into words really.” Bristol nodded in understanding, a kind smile across her lips before she waved off the other girls words. “Theres nothing to feel sorry about, its a little troublesome I suppose..being paranoid about things. But I suppose I rather be this way than totally careless of my surroundings.”

“Yeah, basically, right on point,” Essie admitted because it was rare for another to understand her anxiety so well. Most people brushed it off or irritated her about it instead of trying to be somewhat understanding even if they didn’t go through it. “That’s true, but the overbearingness to it isn’t very fun.” She muttered as she thought about how it made her a little too aware too the point sometimes there wasn’t anything there.

“absolutely,” jett admitted with a nod, the sound of her voice assisting in where he shifted his gaze. “what’s got you so anxious right now?” he asked out of curiosity, his tone softer in an attempt to lighten the mood a little bit.

his question made her shrug, because she didn’t know if there was really a cause or not. “i just get anxious for no reason,” she spoke as she knew it was too common so it wasn’t like it was a new feeling. “i normally deal with it, but i don’t know,” she sighed.

“Gosh yes, all the time.” Bristol answered with a light smile across her lips, she’d always been an anxious and paranoid person in given situations that made her uncomfortable. “Is something the matter?” she curiously asked.

hearing that she wasn’t the only one who was like that, did give her some relief. “honestly, i don’t know, it’s kind of, just happens sometimes. it’s like... i guess, i’m just... i can’t explain.” how could she explain what was wrong with her brain without giving too much of herself away? she wasn’t sure and it made her feel bad because it was rare for her to feel an understanding from another. “i am sorry you have to deal with this feeling, though, i wouldn’t wish this upon anyone.”

“do you ever get really anxious over nothing?” she wondered, running her hand through her hair as she knew that was her current state but she felt like she was just crazy for it, needing a bit of reassurance from someone.

“well, seems like what we have to do is boost up your spirits again even if you weren’t able to join us for spring break.” he replies licking his lips while shaking his head a bit. “maybe throw a party of some sort?” 

“you sure you want to do that? ‘cause you probably can find better things to do with your time than make me feel better or is that an excuse to throw a party?” essie wondered, it was weird for her to have someone want to do something extremely nice for her so she couldn’t help but think there was an underlining reason for it.

After everything that had happened in Hawaii, it just left Serenity wondering about her life and how things would be if things just ended up differently. She tilted her head to the side, zoning out the other as she was in deep thought, not saying a single word. 

Essie was trying to talk to the other until she got frustrated, snapping her finger. “Are you even listening to me because I am so close to just getting up and leaving,” she spoke.

“yeah, you should of went, i’m sure that you would’ve had a blast there.” he states while licking his lips a bit, you obviously were wrong, you should’ve just went to Hawaii for at least a weak and then met up with your family the following week.” 

“I don’t doubt it one bit,” Essie sighed as she just shrugged as she couldn’t take back what happened. “I was too exhausted the entire time to travel anywhere but back here so I dealt, went to a suck ass beach and try to feel at one.”

“Bummer indeed, you would’ve had a blast..of course theres always next year, and summer break to look forward to.” he mused rather positively. “Was being home really that bad?”

“That’s true but it feels so long away right now,” she sighed as she knew for sure, she wouldn’t mind doing something big for summer break, maybe even travel to Paris or Australia, or just for a bit Hawaii to experiences it. “Conflict every single day, you do not catch a break in that house. It’s the opposite of a vacay.”

“spring break was a hell of a time… hawaii was beautiful and we were surrounded by the ocean? free drinks every night as well.” he smirks as he glances at the blonde. “is there a reason why you didn’t go?” 

“as someone who loves beaches, this will be my biggest mistake in my entire life. but i’m happy you obviously enjoyed yourself,” essie told him as he was more bitter at herself for giving up the opportunity to enjoy an island for family that didn’t appreciate her efforts. “i thought family would be more important, i was wrong,” she said in a joking tone even though she met her words.

“Did you not go on the trip, I would’ve thought i’d see you around..” Kai spoke with a light smile as he eyed the girl. “You really missed out, the resort and the beach was amazing.”

“nah, i went home instead, worst mistake of my lifetime, next time, i’m going on the trip,” she sighed as she forgotten about her home life until she went back. “i could imagine and i love beaches so much so it’s a real bummer.”

“tell me all about your spring break so i don’t have to relive the terrible spring break i had,” essie spoke as she knew she didn’t want to even think about the mistake of not going to hawaii.
