Mr. W.I.T.C.H. poll 2024 - Round 1

I'm a little late but I did not forget that in September 2023 we had a glorious Mr. W.I.T.C.H. poll where Cedric finally got his deserved revenge after his dramatically lost battle in the official poll in the comic in 2002!

This time I would like to do it with an ELIMINATION event: there will be ONE POLL PER DAY and at the end of each poll, the character with less votes will be eliminated, and you'll vote again. At the end there will be a final match between the last two survivors for one week (we already know who will be there... Phobos needs revenge for that second place last year)

So... VOTE for your fave W.I.T.C.H. boi, REBLOG HARD for sample size, and if you want to nominate someone who is not in the poll, do it in the tags! Honorable nominations will be considered for the poll on the next day and replace the second to last contender!

I found out that the strange feeling when you are super excited for something and you are waiting and it makes you good but in the same time you know you will be rejected because you just feeling it in your guts. But your body has these remnants of hope when your mind is extremely sad. It really funny, i don't know 😅😅

Preliminary interest check

I was thinking about creating a zine about W.i.t.c.h so i want to make a little interest check.

Zine would be focused on elements. Zine would be divided into sections water, air, fire, earth, quintessence. Each contributor would be assigned to one of the elements. So zine would be focused on W.i.t.c.h but i would also like to focus some attention on former guardians C.H.Y.K.N.

Zine would be sfw, can contain ships, relationship between witch, their family and so on.

Zine would be digital and free to download or with an optional donation.

It this gain some interest, i will take on this project. If not that okay, maybe in the future.

Hello! I had a couple questions about the zine:

1. Since sales are involved, will this be for charity or for profit? If so, how will contributors be compensated?

2. Are there any mods on the project?

right now genuinely I'm not aiming for either. my concern is that we're not going to be able to get enough sales of the zine especially considering if we do printed versions I want each contributor to be able to get their own free copy -- so I just want to be able to have people be able to buy physical copies without paying too much out of my own pocket. I have people in my real life that I'm trying to reach out to figure out finances and as we get further along I will be able to have more solid numbers for that. this is my first time running a zine -- I'm sorry I'm not able to be more up front about all of this right now. if we DO make any margin of money, I would love to be able to distribute it among the contributors and everyone working on the team, which leads me to--

yes, there are other people working with me. @ravensraven and @lesbianbriars are helping me with selecting contributors for the art & writing fields respectively, and I have a couple in real life friends that have signed on to help me with layout/editing & financial sides of this. so right now that's a team of about 5 including me. right now I'm hoping that's a big enough team, but we're aiming for trust with the audience -- if anyone has any problems with anything, please reach out to let me know.

emails SHOULD be going out THIS WEEK. I'm really really sorry for the delay; I am a full-time college student working a part-time job, not counting running this zine. raven is doing their best to work out the remainder of what I am not able to get done. I will put up more posts later once I am able to snag more free time.
