hello!

i don't think anyone would see this, but i still think that writing a note would be appropriate. just doesn't feel right to leave this blog hanging hahah

it's been 4(?) years since Idol Producer was released, and the show & its trainees has left me with so many good memories. not many people i know irl even talk about it anymore, but the occasional activity that i receive from notifs still bring a smile to my face. I rarely keep up with news of Nine Percent nowadays, though I do hear about them from time to time.

Let me take the opportunity to say this: FUCK iQiyi. Nine Percent had SO much potential to grow, expand and even surpass some kpop bands out there, but the company just spent the entire contract twiddling thumbs and doing WHO knows WHAT. My boys are doing so much better in their individuals careers, but it still sucks to know that Nine Percent barely promoted as a group with all the fanfare they've gotten. Idk what's with the chinese industry and their music bands, but they really got to step up their game and look to a certain nearby country for pointers.

Also for my absolute bias, Yanjun!!! I recommend everyone to check out Crush (2021) if you're in the mood for something soft and light. It's such an adorable show and he had so much chemistry with his co-star. You can forget about checking out Fall In Love (2021) though. It absolutely sucked ass and did him no justice at all ;;u;;

That's all I have to say! I don't think I'll be posting much on this site anymore bc life has gotten a lot more complicated hahaha. regardless i wish anyone who does read this post a great day!

Update: Fan Cheng Cheng will be reuniting with Cheng Xiao in the upcoming 2020 drama, Spirit Realm (灵域). It follows the adventures of Qin Lie, a young man without his memories who comes from a heavenly bloodline. Apparently it’s an i-Qiyi special and you probably have to pay for it (broke noises), but hopefully broke fans like me can find other means to support this drama. It’d be Cheng Cheng’s first acting gig, so I’m really looking forward to his performance!

The bananas did an interview where Chaoze said that Zhangjing drinks black coffee every day because he thinks it’ll make him slimmer. He also explained how black coffee is very strong and because Zhangjing has a sensitive stomach it often makes him puke. Chaoze told him to stop drinking it but he still drinks 2-3 cups every day.

It breaks my heart how you always tell us, grapefruits, to take care of our health. So I’m telling you to please, please take care of yourself too. I’m never going to be someone that will tell you not to lose weight when I know how much you want it. But don’t hurt yourself in the process. You Zhangjing doesn’t have that beautiful voice from fitting into small sized jeans. I love you so much.
