Y'all ever just get so absorbed in a book you forget it's not real and then when you stop reading it feels like something is now missing from your life.
I would 10000% recommend "a quiet kind of thunder" by Sara Barnard if you are looking for an experience like that.
Now excuse me while I reread.

THE POWER OF GLASSES
I thought I had normal vision. I had very weak reading glasses but apart from that no (obvious) vision problems. I went for a routine eye appointment and recieved a stronger prescription. Who knew that the ingredients on packets were actually supposed to be legible all along??

Anyone ever just be watching a movie, or scrolling or binging a TV series and then just realise oh shit I have to be up for school in 2 hours. I just did that.

Part of a story I wrote:
My chest dropped to my knees and my heart dropped through my chest. I knew this day was coming. How could I not when the news had been plastered throughout what was left of the city? Today was doomsday and I was doomed.
"A justified decision." The government had called it. "For when things go too far. Apparently things were too far gone.
Crouched under my kitchen counter I prepared for the end of the end. Humans are so pathetic I remember thinking as I sat there in the foetal position. I'm sat here terrified as the world burns around me because we were too stupid to realise until it was too late. Too egocentric to take a step back and notice that it's not all about us. That destroying each other also destroys ourselves and when you fight fire with fire eventually the whole world starts to burn.
Bombs fell like rain outside, a summer shower of shrapnel. Children cried until they couldn't breathe any longer, suffocated by the acrid smell of smoke. The alarm reigned over us all. A shriek in the darkness, led by the man that ended the world because he couldn't have it all.

Just read LOTR again (no I am NOT obsessed) and I realised how awsome Bilbo is. Like, the guy has a magical ring and he uses it to hide from his family members. My idol.

AWESOME BOOK ALERT!!
Recently, I read this absolutely incredible graphic novel. It's called Bloom (by Savanna Ganucheau and Kevin Panetta).
With not only one sickeningly sweet relatshionship but also: a vespa, two incredibly sweet bakers, a near death experience and a bakery fire. What more could you possibly want??
The art cracks me up as well :)
