my new eye of michael guy. its name is Siphon!

someone who has totally shed its humanity and ties to the world to serve the eye as it feels entirely indebted to them for taking it in when it had nowhere else to go, giving it a chance at a new life. much less loyal to the eye's beliefs or end goals than it is to the eye as a concept and its faculty, it ardently follows its master's commands and sometimes watches over training operations or active missions in lieu of official supervision, which has earned it the nickname "watchdog" amongst the trainees. much better at hand-to-hand combat than it is with ranged weaponry, though still a considerable shot. has been wearing the mask since it was young, very few know what its face looks like now. can be referred to with it or they pronouns but it delights it/its pronouns especially. was a recipient of the regenerative healing and durability augments but received a more rudimentary, slower-acting version of them, which it often offsets by using specialised performance boosters which can be attached via capsules and filtered through its mask. does not care much for socialising, does not talk or make any kind of sound really except to acknowledge orders. not one for starting trouble, it usually ends it. its being is its function is its devotion to the eye.

siphon's name doesn't actually mean anything specific outside of referencing the gas that passes through its mask frequently, i was kinda just going for what sounded the coolest. siphon and dirge were the words that first came to mind lol
