Treated myself to a couple of little goodies this month! Not only is Animal Crossing a fantastic series anyway, but for learning Japanese it’s brilliant. Both the games and the film’s subtitles can be read in furigana (hiragana is shown above the kanji symbols) so if you’re like me and not even close to looking at kanji yet, it’s a great learning aid.  ❤

New Leaf was neglected this weekend because hanging items in HHD are my favourite thing right now. If there’s something I reeeeeeeeally need to be present in New Horizons it’s that hanging ivy!

Happy Friday, everyone!  ♪ Today was sunny both in game and out, so I decided to wear probably one of the last summery outfits of the year. :’)  Apollo visited The Roost for some coffee which was nice, and Kevin suggested moving out. I quickly squashed that idea though, since I really like all of my villagers at the moment!

I’ve decided to give Happy Home Designer another go; I got this game when it was first released and I think I played it for a grand total of 15 minutes. (´∀｀；) I think unlike New Leaf, it’s best tackled in small play sessions at a time. What did you think of this game?

This Wednesday Flora continued to carry the town’s PWP game! She’s such a star. We also got some gold ore out of the ore rock! That’s us up to 3 gold ore, so it might be time to get our first piece of gold furniture from Cyrus soon.

Dōbutsu no Mori (2006)

Tonight I watched this film for the first time, and I loved it. ♡   I did recognise a couple of voice actors from other roles, which made watching it quite entertaining (Blathers especially). If you love AC and you haven’t seen this yet, I fully recommend it!

A visit from Lily was the best way to start our morning! Today saw Phineas return once more (this time for the Seafood Encyclopedia badge), and we collected a couple of nice things from the shops in the afternoon.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you’re all having a great start to the week. :)  Lily surprised me this morning with a visit to my home! I’m so delighted that we’re such good friends now.  The noticeboard also gave us a heads up about the Bug-Off this Saturday, so hopefully I’ll have some time to participate in it this time. 

P.S. I love the symmetry from the villagers that showed up for the fountain completion ceremony!

Sunday was a nice and chilled out day; I visited Lily again in the morning, and then delivered some letters at the post office. 

After checking the lovely phone, I realised that I had the lucky item in my house (the nurse’s outfit today) so I gave it a go and was surprised at the results! I think it’s something I’ll try to utilise going forwards so it makes a difference when catching rare bugs and fish.  ♥

This Saturday I missed the Autumn Moon festival sadly, but not before Isabelle gave me a wee veggie basket as a memento! I also bumped into Flora at the cafe and visited Lily (vice versa from last time!). Lily also sold me her classic clock, but now I feel like I need to gift her something back to fit that space.

Happy Friday 13th everyone! Did you know that it’ll be another 20 years before we have a full moon on Friday 13th again? I know the Autumn Moon festival isn’t until Saturday in the game, but I thought that was a pretty cool IRL fact for today.  ♥ I went fishing this evening, followed by a dip in the sea to collect some critters.
