Did I tell you guys how I randomly stumbled upon this film only because I looked up a cast member of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and the guy who plays Red seemed interesting so I looked up the movies he was in and saw one title that drew me in because of the name : The Kindness of Strangers.

It was only after I started watching it that I realized that Zoe Kazan is in too and I love her. That was a plus.

Anyway. They show this Russian restaurant in New York City and guess what?! It looked exactly like Donna Tartt's description from The Goldfinch when Boris takes Theo on a ride and they wind up in the midst of these weird mob guys. I mean the setting of that scene. I was like.. woah Donna Tartt. What the hell. Why are you so fuckin good?
