Rage Games
Rage Games was a video game development company which was located in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The company was formerly known as Rage Software and its games were marked by an importance on graphical effects with arcade gameplay. The company’s first game was Striker and it was noted that the game sold over 1 million prints through the first 2 years. Also, it formed Rage as a main development force in the interactive entertaining business. Moreover, Rage Games went through fast expansion during the 1990s and united with several third party software producers for delivery of their games. In addition, the company continued to establish commercial partnership with big publishing houses in which Sony, Dell, Nintendo, Sega, Compaq, Dell and Microsoft are included. Also, they re-registered as a private company in 1999 as Rage Software Limited.

When the 2000 rolled by, the company started to expand their business into publishing. However, it was noted that the costs of publishing and run of games that didn’t sell as predicted, led Rage Games into bankruptcy and official shutdown in January 2003.
Gun Metal (Video Game)

Gun Metal is one of the more popular games that are created by Rage Games. For those who don’t know, this game is a 3D shooting game that’s entirely developed by Rage Game for PC and the Xbox. The game was officially published by Majesco Entertainment back in 2002. Moreover, the game lets players to run a futuristic robot that can change into plane. In addition, the game is war-oriented game on some planet named Helios.
Rolling
According to some reports, Rolling is the last originally developed game by Rage Games. For those who aren’t familiar with the game, Rolling is an extreme sports video game. The game was officially published back in 2003 for Xbox and PlayStation. It was also noted that versions for the GameCube and Game Boy Advance were cancelled because of the little interest shown in the extreme sports games. In the game, players are allowed to choose to play as one of the 20 accessible skaters and work their way through a progressively hard “career mode”. Moreover, the mode features 14 levels, sponsorship deals, gaining reputation and also unlocking some new tricks and videos of the pro skaters.

Guerrilla Games
Guerrilla Games is a first-party company involved in the video game industry. To be precise, Guerrilla Games is a video game development company established back in 2000 originally under the name Lost Boys Games. Before Sony bought the company, Guerrilla Games was a division of the multimedia conglomerate Lost Boys. In addition, the company was run under the name Lost Boys Games. Moreover, the company was established as a result of a merger that happened between 3 different Dutch-located game creators in which Digital Infinity and Orange Games are included. In the next 3 years, the company published 4 games. Two of their games were for the Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color, which are handheld game consoles.

Back in 2003, because of the different mergers and companies reshuffling, the division was officially bought by Media Republic. In July 2003, the name was officially changed from Lost Boys Games to Guerrilla Games. After the name was changed, the company started to work on their first titles. One of them was Killzone, which was in development for the PlayStation 2 and the other game was Shellshock: Nam ’67 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox and the PlayStation 2. Those 2 titles are the ones that made Guerrilla Games popular. As a matter of fact, Shellshock: Nam ’67 sold more than 900,000 prints across the world. Before the end of 2005, Sony officially announced the acquisition of the company and since then it’s the parent company of Guerrilla Games.
Killzone
One of the games that made Guerrilla Games popular is Killzone. This game is a FPS game that’s created by Guerrilla Games. The game was officially published back in November 2004 by Sony originally for the PlayStation 2. Eventually the game was later developed for the PlayStation 3. Moreover, the story of the game takes place in the mid-24th century in war between 2 human groups, the Helgan and the Vektans. In addition, the game is played from a first-person perspective and follows Jan Templar, who is a high-ranked officer, as he battles occupying Helghan armies into Vekta.
Before the release of the game, Killzone was considered to be the Halo killer game. However, after the game was released it received different reviews and critics for the art design and soundtrack.

Renegade Software
Renegade Software was a United Kingdom-based company involved in the video game industry. To be precise, the company was dedicated to the video game publisher business. The company was founded by the Bitmap Brothers back in 1991. Originally, the founders used this company to publish their own games. That was after the Bitmap Brothers became unhappy with performs of publishing companies. It was noted that their earlier games were officially published by Mirrorsoft. Moreover, the goal of the Bitmap Brothers with Renegade Software was to give game creators more creative freedom and more credit. One of the earliest games published by Renegade was the game Magic Pockets. As a matter of fact, the Bitmap Brothers had signed a contract with Rhythm King, which is a music publisher, in order to include a Betty Boo song in Magic Pockets.

Sometime later, Renegade started publishing games by other game creators and was noted as one of the more successful independent game publisher back then. However, the game company was later bought in 1995 by Warner Interactive and they still published under the Renegade brand. However, Warner Interactive in 1997 was sold to GT Interactive and the brand ceased to exist.
Fire and Ice (Video Game)
One of the more popular games released by Renegade Software is Fire and Ice. The game was published by Renegade for the Atari ST and the Amiga back in 1992. The game is a computer game that’s fully developed by Graftgold. In the game, the players control Cool Coyote with brighter and sharper graphics with some new gameplay options. Moreover, the 2 most memorable options the game carries are the ‘sunset’ style background color properties and the ever-present demonstration of the gameworld at the end of the screen that sorts some skillful shining water effects. The task in each level is to locate the exit door and unlock it. However, in order to unlock the door, the players need a key that consists of several pieces. Originally it was developed for the Atari ST and the Amiga, however, the game was later published for other platforms such as Sega Master System, RISCK OS, IBM PC Compatible and the Amiga CD32.

Creatures, INC (company)
Creatures INC. is a video game development company located in Tokyo, Japan. Moreover, the company is linked with The Pokemon Company. The history of the company goes back to November 1995 when it was founded by Tsunekazu Ishihara with some help of Satoru Iwata, who was the first president of Nintendo, as a successor to the company Ape Inc. In addition, the company is best known for creating Pokemon toys and trading cards and also creating many video games. The current president of the company is Hirokazu Tanaka, who was earlier known for developing and composing many different Nintendo games. Originally, the company started under the name Ape, INC and was founded in March 1989. The team back then started working on several projects. They’ve managed to release the game in 1994, but the team was laid off the next year.

On November 8, 1995, Creatures, INC. was officially formed under CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara and ex-employees from Ape. Moreover, the company now is best known for making Pokemon card games and also toys for the franchise Pokemon.
Games Developed
Over the years, they created some very notable games. The company managed to create some games for different platforms while it was still under the name Ape. Games under the name Ape include Monopoly, Mother, Mario’s Super Picross and The Monopoly 2 Game for the NES, SNES and the Game Boy.
Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs
One of the more popular games developed under Creatures is Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs. For those who don’t know this game, it’s an action RPG that’s entirely created by Creatures. The game was officially published for the Nintendo DS by The Pokemon Company and was distributed by Nintendo. This game is the third part in the series Pokemon Ranger. It’s a sequel to both Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. The game requires the players to capture Pokemon with capture style.

 The company’s chairman is Tsunekazu Ishihara and the president is Hirokazu Tanaka. According to a report back in June 2017, the company currently has 110 employees and is working on new projects related to Pokemon.
