Lighthouse Basement - Pokémon Ranger (2006, 2007 Europe) Developer: HAL Laboratory, Creatures, Inc. Publisher: Nintendo

Found in the port of Fall City, the location is unlocked as part of Mission 2: Fall City Case Log. The player is directed to the location to capture a Staryu in order to illuminate a laboratory basement. Capturing the Staryu can be relatively difficult early in the game as it quickly moves around the arena, slowing down only to perform its spin attack. Once captured, the player leaves the basement to complete the mission. The location is visually reminiscent of the Waterworks visited in a later mission in the game.
