I’m so sorry about the awful crime done against your brothers and sisters. My heart is with you and yours.
May Allahﷻ grant them paradise, ease the pain of their families, and make our mosques more full than they’ve ever been before. We fear no one, we will continue to go to mosques, wear our hijabs, and be proud of being Muslims. We do not fear people, we do not fear guns, and we do not fear death. They can kill Muslims but they can’t kill Islam.
And honestly, to be killed for being a Muslim is a death I wouldn’t mind.
“And do not ever assume that those who are slain in Allah’s cause, are dead;
in fact they are alive with their Lord, receiving sustenance.”
[Quran 3:169]

listen my lifelong dream is to have a leather back notebook with thick pages that become yellowed with age and in it i will have sketches and paintings and ideas and quotes and pressed flowers and love letters and mysterious things and i will hide it in the creaky floorboards of my mysterious sea cliff mansion far away from any houses for my grand children to find long after i have passed away and to blow the dust off it and flip through the pages and they will think that it is mysterious and that i was mysterious and it will be very mysterious

Some studies I did for my second artbook, The Sketchbook of Loish! For one of the chapters, I developed an idea for a story and explored it through sketches and concept art.
If you’re interested in this book, it’s available directly through my publisher, where you can get a copy with a signed bookplate! Find it here: https://shop.3dtotal.com/the-sketchbook-of-loish

As protests against injustice in legal system, discrimination, police brutality spread through the US, it is necessary to educate yourself about these issues.

“I’m speaking to you from my heart. Look, I don’t know if I’m going to have a career after this, but fuck that. Today is about innocent people who were halfway through their process, we don’t know what George Floyd could have achieved, we don’t know what Sandra Bland could have achieved, but today we’re going to make sure that won’t be an alien thought to our young ones. Every black person in here remembered when another person reminded you that you were black. So none of you out there, all those protesters on the other side, protesting against what we want to do, protesting against what we want to try and achieve, burn you, this is so vital. I need you to understand how painful this shit is. I need you to understand how painful it is to be reminded every day that your race means nothing and that isn’t the case anymore, that was never the case anymore.” John Boyega at The Black Lives Matter protest in Hyde Park June 3rd 2020
