Power and Responsibility
"With great power comes great responsibility." That is what Peter Parker's uncle told him when I first watched Spiderman when I was 4 years old. However, me being the kid that I am, I did not entirely understood it. It took me a decade to really understood it. How do we define power? It is by being responsible? Or do we define it by knowledge? For me, I think responsibilty and knowledge should co-exist with each other to define power. The social media is a powerful place. As a user, it can make and break you. That is why, I really think that a person should be responsible on using it. Responsible in a sense that, a person will thouroughly think on what to post in public. A person should have the ability to classify and spread legitimate news, for children also use social media and can be gullible. A person who  believes fake news can have a serious risk. For example, believing that vaccinating your children is bad for their health. Not all people know that, that is why we must be the bearer of true news for the people. A person should know everyone's privacy. We must not cross the line and should know that each and everyone has the right to their privacy. A person should post content-friendly posts. When a person sees an optimistic post, it can change someone's day. We must not use social media as a vent for our hatred and anger. Remember that when we are mad, we say things that we don't really mean. And once a word is said, we can never take it back. We should never bash a person online, whatever their mistake is, we must remember that we are all human. We are valid of anger and emotions, but it does not justify to say mean things about them just to let them know they hurt you. We must tell them where they went wrong, so in thay way, they can reflect and think on what they did and how to change for the better. There is no denying that we use social media for entertainment, empowerment and information. But as we progress for the future, we must know that we hold a responsibility for our actions. Just like what Newton said in his Third Law of Inertia, the Law of Interaction, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

How Has Technology Changed Us?
Change. Change is the only thing that is constant is in this world. As time passed by, different technologies with excellent features rose to fame. From cave paintings and clay tablets, to smart phones and wearable technologies, people had surely come a long way. Nowadays, people needed technology in order to watch news, talk to their friends, see the articles posted online and even to catch up with the peoplr faraway from them, but how did the technology change the peole, how did technology change us? Technology changed the people in many ways. First, it taught people different shortcuts and hacks in life. For example, the people from 1980s needed newspaper to be updated from the different news, but today, we only need one swipe from our smart phones, or one type from our computers. Aside from that, it also changed the way of communication, before, the people needed to send letters to their relatives or lovers, but today, we only need an application or the internet to do that. It also changed the way of courtship, from the sweet messages and calling through the phone. We had come a long way and we still have a journey infront of us. Soon, the technology will boost further than what we have today. It will change our way of communication, the way we travel and the way we do our everyday chores. Before, we use a broom and a dust pan to sweep our floors, but today, vacuum cleaners are the trend and is widely available to the public. Isaac Newton said in his 3rd Law of Motion that an action has an equal and opposite reaction. Although I said the positive effects of change, it is inevitable for it not to have a negative effect. The boost and the upgrade of technology opened a new way of doing things, it offered a shortcut for our chores. Hence, the people of this generation became lazier. Furthermore, technology is used for bullying and and shaming other people online. It also became an outlet for cybercrimes and illegal deeds. Those are the ways that the technology changed the world and its people. Although it has negative effects, we must not forget the positive effects that it brought to us. However, just like everything in this world, we should not depend on it too much. We may not see the future today, but we will experience it tomorrow.
