criminal minds AU i've had in my mind since first period: modern AU where Derek, Spencer, Emily, JJ, Penelope and Elle are student at a high-school in Virginia Aaron, David, and Jason are teachers at the school

roles at the school/as teachers: Derek - (reletively) new kid from Southside Chicago who's on the american football team. he's friends w bullies but he isnt a bully himself Spencer - nerd who's bullied Emily - the lesbian goth girl JJ - popular (british) football girl Penelope - nice girl who isnt popular but everyone knows and she spends all her time in the tech rooms (she's one of spencer's only friends) Elle - sassy popular girl but she's nice Aaron - teaches political science David - teaches business studies Jason - teaches psychology

spencer is very close to jason aaron and david bc he gets on w teachers better than students and this is another reason he gets bullied.

but, here's the thing: spencer is trans ftm and also spiderman.

derek doesnt know he's trans bc he joined at the start of sophomore year (year 11), and one time he was leaving class w his friends, but saw spencer forgot his book, so he picks it up and tries to follow spencer and calls out his name but spencer doesnt listen, so he yells "hey pretty boy! you dropped your book!" and spencer turns around, grabbing his book. derek's friends hear the pretty boy comment and start laughing and calling spencer pretty boy as an insult bc he's trans. spencer expects derek to join in but instead derek tells them all to shut the fuck up.

Then Spencer is in the tech rooms with Penelope at lunch, when Derek comes in and talks to penelope, asking for the notes she took in a class they have together. "thanks babygirl." then he sees spencer and ruffles his hair, "dont think i forgot about you too, pretty boy." and leaves.

now here's where spencer being spiderman comes into it. he's trying to get away from like some nobody he's fighting because the head part of his suit has fallen off and he needs to put it back on before anyone sees that HE'S spiderman, but the thing he's fighting wont give him a second of peace, so he tries to think of somewhere he could hide. the only person who lives in the area he trusts is derek. he knows where derek lives because they get on the same bus, and derek gets off at the stop before spencer's, and derek's apartment block is right across the street from the bus stop, so he gets to derek's apartment block, and goes up to derek's bedroom window (spencer has seen derek from the window on a walk one time or smth IDK DONT QUESTION IT.) and comes in through the window, and derek looks down from his bed and his first words are "pretty boy..?" but yeah they fall in love and stuff and yay moreid

Me watching criminal minds: wow, I really like the dynamic between Spencer and Morgan. I could see myself shipping them, but that's probably just my terminal shipping brain.

Derek: calls spencer pretty boy and then immediately invites him on a tropical vacation
