It’s been a while.

Sorry I haven’t posted in forever, I’ve been really busy with school and other personal stuff so I haven’t been able to do much more than lurk and reblog occasionally.

I can’t tell you how much longer I’m going to be gone but I’ll hopefully be posting again by next weekend?

This applies for @fandomstuck-hiveswap too. Don’t worry, I’ve still got plenty of asks over there to finish and it should be up and running again pretty soon.

Homestuck couldn’t decide whether to wait at his computer or his door. He had too much energy to stand still and paced around his house, going back and forth between the two. Only a few minutes left, what should he do, what should he do? Finally, he decided; he’d wait by the door. It was only proper, really. Not much longer, now. 38 seconds. He didn’t have a watch on him, he just had an uncanny ability to always know what time it was. Compared to the five years he’d already waited, thirty seconds was nothing, and yet it stretched into an eternity. Suddenly, right on time, someone burst through his door, “HOMESTUCK!!!!” the person yelled, tackling him in a hug.

“Hiveswap!” he exclaimed, hugging back with just as much force. He lifted the smaller fandom off the ground and spun around, “I’m so excited to finally meet you!” He set her down and finally got his first good look at her. Despite himself, he felt water fill his eyes.

“Homestuck…? Is everything okay?” Hiveswap asked, confused and a little worried.

“Yeah,” he said softly, “I’m just… really happy you’re here.” he reached an arm up to wipe the tears away, “I waited a long time for you.” And now she’s here, and he was so proud of her. A fandom in her own right.

Hiveswap smiled, understanding now, “Thank you. I waited a long time for me too.”
