I'm afraid of germs.
"Then I suppose you see all of the germs surrounding us constantly?" Pitch purred, leaning closer. "Every sneeze, every cough leaves traces on your hair, on your skin, on the surfaces you touch. You breathe in germs, and that is why you get sick so often. Oh, perhaps not the flu or with a pox, but have you ever woken up with a sore throat that goes away by lunchtime?" He grinned widely before drawing closer still, exhaling his next answer in just a soft whisper. "Germs."

COLD WEATHER TIPS FROM SOMEONE WHO LIVES WHERE ITâS COLD:
I always see posts about layering clothing, but there are so many more creative ways to help keep you warm if you donât have a lot of warm clothes. But first, a note on layering clothing:
-Your underlayer is your WICKING layer. That means it is a layer specifically to absorb the moisture your body produces. DO NOT USE COTTON AS A BOTTOM LAYER. Use merino wool if possible, but other good substitutions are nylon, polyester and rayon.Â
-Your middle layer is for insulation. You want AIR POCKETS in there, NOT tight fitting clothes. This is where you want to put your fluffy sweaters, your fleece, down, fur, flannel, or vests. If you do not have these, you can substitute with multiple layers of long sleeve shirts.
-Your outer layer is for keeping the cold away from your body. If you do not have a jacket, you can put on your thickest piece of clothing and then a raincoat over it. Windbreaker if you have one.Â
ALSO
-Jeans are the absolute worst at holding heat. Use only as a last resort.Â
-You canât really ever have too many layers on your feet. Alternate tucking your layers of pants into your layers of socks to keep your ankles warm!
-Wear a hat OVER a hood if it will fit! This will keep your ears warmest.
TAKE OFF/OUT ANY AND ALL JEWELERY/PIERCINGS
-If you have a medical bracelet, DO NOT REMOVE IT. If you can, tuck a layer of clothes between it and your skin.
NON-CLOTHING TIPS:
-Raid your recycling. Gather all cardboard boxes and break them down so that they are flat. Put them on the floor to add more layers between you and the cooling house. Newspaper will also serve the same purpose.
-In an emergency, you can also layer newspaper between clothing layers. Donât worry about looking stupid if youâre staying warm.
-If you have a tent, set that sucker up in whatever room you have decided to stay in. Stay in it and keep it zipped shut as much as you can, but do NOT cover the vent at the top. You can put the rain fly up, but make sure there is circulating air for you to breathe.
-You are probably not going to feel very hungry at times. DO NOT STOP EATING OR DRINKING. Digestion produces a lot of body heat and the food will give your body energy to keep itself going.
-The best foods are heavy and full of carbs and proteins. Eat nuts, eggs, pasta, meats, and beans. If you are on a diet, now youâre not. If youâre vegetarian⌠bulk up on those pastas and nuts.
-Try not to sweat. If you are finding yourself getting damp, take off the outer layer just until you start to cool slightly. Then redress! Your bottom layer should dry quickly, and being wet is dangerous.
-On that note, STAY ACTIVE. You are probably going to want to hunker down and snuggle up, but that will make your muscles cramp. Every 15-20 minutes do something that gets you up and about. Walk circles in the room, do a couple jumping jacks, stretch, whatever. Just enough to move some blood around your body. Donât get sweaty or out of breath, itâs just a little movement.
-CHAPSTICK. ON YOUR LIPS. ON YOUR NOSE. ON YOUR EARS. ON YOUR KNUCKLES. Donât let your extremities get dry or cracked.
SIGNS OF HYPOTHERMIA:
-Uncontrollable shivering -Slurred speech -Confusion or memory loss -Dizziness or lack of coordination -Inability to be woken from sleep
CHILDREN AND INFANTS!!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.
-Children WILL get colder before you. Make sure they are properly bundled up.
-If you need to breastfeed, put a blanket over the both of you and wait a few minutes for the air to warm before removing or shifting your clothing.
-DO NOT COVER AN INFANTS FACE. ESPECIALLY WHEN SLEEPING. Keep them tucked inside your own clothes when possible. As close to your heart and stomach as possible.Â
-Put chapstick on childrenâs cheeks and clean their face often if they are crying or wiping at their nose. This will prevent cracked skin and irritation.
-Make sure your children are staying as hydrated as you! They are going to fuss and not want to drink cold things, but they NEED liquids.
SIGNS OF HYPOTHERMIA IN INFANTS AND TODDLERS ARE DIFFERENT:
-Shortness of breath -Cold, red skin -Lethargy or listlessness
Finally:
CHECK ON YOUR NEIGHBORS. CHECK ON CHILDREN. CHECK ON THE ELDERLY. STAY SNUGGLED. STAY SAFE.
#out of fear#this is important information to know#also as someone who lives in the northern midwest of the US#it is despicable to me that energy companies will cut the power in the cold time of the year#we have laws in place that#even if you're behind on bills#it is illegal for the power company to turn off your heat/electricity during the cold months of the year#because that kills people#stay safe#stay warm#and for goodness sake be kind to one another

A Christmas Night In (Cavity)
The fire burned cheerily in the fireplace, filling the room with warmth that seemed to curl into every possible nook and cranny. A slight draft made its way through the room every now and then, however with the couch parked as close to the fireplace as it was, the inhabitants of the room didnât notice a thing.
Well, maybe Tooth snuggled a little bit closer to Pitch as he stretched out along the entire length of the couch, but really, who was paying attention? The two Guardians, content to be in each other's arms, just let the heat seep into them. No words were needed, just the otherâs presence was enough to calm them from the dayâs rigors.
That day had been particularly dreadful for the two of them. For tooth, a new candy had come out called Jawbreakers that kids were told they had to lick or suck on in order to ge the maximum enjoyment out of it. However, thirty seven kids had chosen to instead bite into these hard candies and at least twenty of them had cracked a tooth. Thankfully they were all baby teeth, but Tooth had to do extra preparations for cracked or broken baby teeth. They were more fragile, and needed special care before being put into a tooth box.Â
Pitch, on the other hand, had been doing his duty to protect the children of the world from the scarier monsters out there. He ended up helping release an entire warehouse of kidnapped children, trapping the traffickers inside their minds and letting the Fearlings loose to ensure these monsters would never touch another child again. With the first escaped child, the police were called over and the rest were quickly gathered up and taken somewhere safe. Emotionally, it had been harrowing, what little that was left of his heart going out to these kids whoâs innocence had been forcibly stripped from them in more ways than one.
Before leaving, he ended up marking each one of them to let Sanderson know to give them particularly sweet dreams in the months to come.
But now the two were together again at last, deriving comfort from the other, having set aside this night as a work-free, stress-free time together.

You Give Me Cavities: Anniversary Hiccups
Cradling the vase in his hands, Pitch flinched back when the two brawling shoppers started fistfighting. He didnât know who had started it, and frankly he didnât care. Pitch had other things to worry about besides who grabbed which toy first, or whatever they were fighting about in the mallâs parking lot. Pitch tried to inch by them to head to where his car was parked, the jewelry box of a necklace he commissioned for his wife tucked in his coat pocket, the vase of arranged flowers cradled in his arms. He hadnât seen the flying fist miss the other fighter, but he certainly felt it. One moment he was standing, the next there was the sound of shattering glass and he dropped like a stone onto the pavement.Â
He had come to with paramedics hovering over him, and the two brawlers being escorted into police cars, a crowd of people surrounding them all. Sitting up gingerly, he winced as he saw a news camera being set up. On today of all days, of course he would be subjected to something like this! Looking around, Pitchâs eyes found the ruined bouquet of flowers he had picked up for his and his wifeâs anniversary dinner tonight, the vase shattered beyond repair. He could try to salvage it, however he had no deft hand at arranging and would rather spend the money for a quality product than spend his time to fix it manually. Pitch sighed, lamenting the loss of the beautiful arrangement and already calculating in his mind how much a store bought bouquet would be. Hopefully the necklace would be enough to make up for the loss of the expertly arranged flowers.
âSir, are you alright?â the paramedic had asked.
âJust a little embarrassed,â he replied honestly, a hand coming up to his face to touch his sore eye. That was going to blacken quickly, judging by how tender it already was.

You Give Me Cavities: Spilled Milk
âAre you sure sure that you two want to do this?â Tooth asked for the third time that night. She had almost finished getting ready for her date out with Pitch, having already taken on her human form, but her brow was creased with worry for Jack and Bunnymund who had offered to babysit the twins for the few hours they would be out. The twins were now 18 months old, and were getting into anything and everything they could. Thankfully, neither of them seemed to have Pitchâs powers just yet, if at all, so there shouldnât be any worries about them slipping into the shadows to wreak havoc.
But if babies could be mischievous, these two, hands down, were.
âOh yeah, we got this! I helped raise my sister back when I was still mortal, how hard could it be?â Jack replied nonchalantly. Tooth just gave him a look. Pitch even stuck his head out of the bathroom where he was getting ready to stare at him incredulously. He and Tooth shared a bewildered look before he disappeared back into the bathroom.
âOkay, but are you sure? I can have some of my mini fairies here as support, or backup or something,â she added. âOr I can call my sister, Vanish. She might have some free time tonight to help you out!â
âNah, everything will be fine,â Bunny said, trying to reassure her as Jack blushed behind him at the mention of Toothâs sister. Tooth was not reassured. âYouâve written down a detailed list of their schedule, what snacks they are and are not allowed to have, their favorite activities, what times they shouldnât be napping, what time they need to be in bed by, and how to trick them into taking a bath. You have prepared us as much as you can. We can handle a couple of anklebiters, even if they are as special as yours. And now, you two get to go out, get dinner, maybe see a movie or go dancing. You just have to be home before 11, so we have time to put this one to bed,â he added, motioning to Jack.
âHey!â Jack exclaimed in protest. Pitch chose that moment to emerge from the bathroom. He walked over to his children, who were on their large king sized bed, to rub his nose against theirs, saying goodbye.
âYou two be good for Uncle Jack and Uncle Bunny. Theyâll be looking over you while Mummy and Papa are out for the night,â he said endearingly to them. Both Damien and Regina, each clad in an animal themed onesie, giggled happily at him. Straightening, Pitch pinned Jack and Bunny with a stare, holding their gaze as he transitioned to his human form, the magic rippling over his form and lightening his skin from the rich gray of the shadows to a more natural flesh color. His eyes stayed golden, however, just as Toothâs stayed pink in her human form.
Both Jack and Bunny swallowed thickly at the unsaid threat.

You Give Me Cavities: Shall We Dance?
With a sigh, Tooth lowered her Peacock Masquerade mask in order to take another sip of the tepid punch that tasted like someone had made it in their bathtub. With the drinking fountains out of order in the auditorium, it was the only thing to quench her thirst. But as the taste began to get more fetid with every sip, Tooth eventually admitted defeat and set her plastic cup down, letting it get lost to the oblivion that was the High Schoolâs Winter Formal. Retying her mask on and gathering up her skirts-Peacock green with brilliant blue embroidery on the back for the male tail display feathersâTooth beelined it over to where her friends stood on the side of the dance floor, all bemoaning the fact that their dates had abandoned them for better pursuits.
âWhy are we even still here?â she found herself asking Jack, Nick, Sandy and Aster. Jack wore a blue suit with a blue mask covered in snowflakes and icicles, Nick wore a brown over robe with a deer-like maskâhe had proclaimed it was a reindeer, but the would-be antlers were more like nubs than anything elseâSandy wore a golden glittery mask with a golden robe and pants, and Aster chose to dress in gray with a rabbit mask, tall ears and weirdly enough, antlers. He had called it a Jackalope, and Tooth just went along with it while Jack tried to convince Aster that Jackalopes werenât real animals. With a laugh, Aster pointed out that unicorns also werenât real animals, but that didnât stop other people from gluing horns to the foreheads of their masks for the night.
Jack had admitted defeat the only way he knew how when up against Aster: by loudly denying it and doubling down on his position.
The majority of their classmates around them all chose some sort of animal or plain mask with no decoration, but weirdly enough, no other mythical creatures, which Jack had gleefully pointed out the further into the night they got. There were a few that leaned full in on the Masquerade theme and had full Venetian masks and accompanying outfits, but that was typically the theater kids who already had the outfits lying around the costume cage. And herself, of course.
Her glimmering peacock outfit was one that her grandmother had made her last year for Halloween. The mask was new, and Tooth had to travel four hours one way to pick it up from a custom made shop in the city. This was probably going to be the only night she could wear this mask, but gosh darn it, she was going to feel like a princess and enjoy it too!

You Give Me Cavities: The Way of the Househusband
Pitch was trying to have a good day, like any other day of the week. His chores at home were mostly done, and now he just needed to head to the market to get the groceries for tonightâs dinner. Tonight was going to be special, because his darling wife Toothiana just got a promotion to become a senior partner at the dental clinic, and as the breadwinner of the family, this meant they could splurge a little on the small things for this week. She now had part ownership of this popular dental clinic as an oral surgeon, and she couldnât be happier. This did mean she had increased hours at work, however with Pitchâs support, she didnât have to worry about anything. As a househusband, Pitchâs duties were to keep the house clean, raise their children, and support his wife as best he could. And seeing as how he never failed at anything heâs ever done, he wasnât going to fail now!
Putting the vacuum cleaner away, Pitch pulled out his child harnesses and strapped his children in, Regina in the front and Damien in the back. He adjusted the hair scarf on his head that protected him from the dust, grabbed his reusable grocery bags he had knitted last year before the babies were born, and left the house, wallet and keys in his back pocket.
Pitch greeted their elderly neighbors with a smile and a wave as he headed towards the local market, making a mental list of what he needed for tonight. Daikon radishes, pork loin, carrotsâŚwhat else-
âHey! Boogeyman! How dare you show your face in our territory!â a hooligan yelled out from behind him. Pitch kept walking, ignoring them. âHey, weâre talkinâ to ya!â One of the hooligans raced up to him and tried to grab his shoulder but Pitch evaded his grasp, smoothly turning to protect his children. He paused in his steps and glared at the man who approached him.
âI donât know what youâre talking about,â Pitch replied, bouncing a little to calm the suddenly crying Damien on his back, who was startled with the sudden movement. The hooligan looked surprised, as if he just noticed the two children strapped to Pitch. âIâm just a househusband, nothing more, nothing less. Iâm on my way to the market to grab ingredients for dinner tonight. And if you delay me any longer, I wonât have dinner done in time for my lovely wife to come home to. And then Iâll have to get meanâŚâ
Pitch saw the hooligan before him swallow thickly before looking back to his fellow men. At their mean mug expressions, he seemed to steel himself before looking back at Pitch, and he knew these guys would not let it go without a lesson.
The hooligan attempted to grab him again, this time reaching for Damien, and Pitch saw red.

You Give Me Cavities: Tip of the Fin
Huffing in annoyance as his friend swam away from him, Jack quickly followed after, his strong tail letting him catch up to Toothiana only a few seconds later. He reached out and tugged gently on her seaweed clad hair, making her pause and take a second to look back at him.
âWeâre not going to the graveyard,â he commented flatly before taking her hand and attempting to pull her in a different direction.
âJust because my father stated we werenât allowed to go there, doesnât mean heâs the boss of us and can tell us what to do!â she argued back, resisting his attempt to redirect her.
âNo, just that heâs the merchief of our village and technically that means what he says goes,â he replied. The two paused, his tail swishing animatedly in the water to keep steady.
âBut weâre both adults already!â Tooth complained, her green betta tail flickered agitatedly beneath her, the iridescent emerald green color shimmering in the sparse light that filtered down to them. The rays on the fins were billowy, so they were great for languid swims across scenic routes, but werenât especially effective in races or sprints. Thatâs where Jack had her beat. His tail was much shorter and of a brilliant blue dwarf gourami with faint red speckling trailing down his dorsal side. His tail was meant for speed, and was one of the reasons why Toothâs father entrusted him with her care. He knew Jack would be able to keep up with her should she try to outswim her protection detail.
Which is exactly what happened here.
âHe has a good reason for us not to go there. Itâs not a graveyard of our people, Tooth. Itâs a graveyard of them. Them and their weird vessels. The wooden ones that float but sink,â Jack replied. Tooth gave a dreamy sigh, which was the complete opposite of what he was trying to stress.
âI know,â she replied, her gaze gaining a faraway expression as she daydreamed for a moment. âIâm curious about them, and want to know more. And what better way to learn than from their dead?â she asked with a wide grin. âAfter all, there would be no chance we could talk to a live one.â
Jack had no response to that, and so he hesitated a tad too long, allowing Tooth to spin in place to dart off towards the ship graveyard.
âHey, wait!â

You Give Me Cavities: Love Kills
Grinning to herself as she carefully applied her makeup in the mirror, Toothiana Black nee Flight tuned in to the radio as a breaking news story interrupted the morning talk show program that sheâs listened to for the past decade. She was a woman of habits, after all. What better way to structure oneâs life than to have it be predictable?
"Another victim has been found of the Boogeyman, with his trademark of a rearing horse branded into his victim's flesh appearing on the forehead of his victim. Twenty three year old Vanessa Rogers was last seen last month leaving the bar alone, but she never made it home. Sometime between then and three am, disaster struck, and her body was pulled from the river the following morning. Once the coroner's finished their investigation, it was discovered that her body had been abused before being thrown into the river. The top suspects in this case have evaded all efforts of the police, however the Boogeyman seemed to take offense to their crime. He seemed to take matters into his own hands, for the body that appeared today is the second of the three suspects that the Boogeyman has found. Local authorities are urging the last suspect to turn himself in for protection before he finds himself following the same path as his cohorts. Local authorities are unsure as to what the Boogeyman's real motives are, and whether he picks his victims randomly or if he has a pattern. This is the nineteenth body with his branding found in the past three years. Nothing seems to be tying any of his past victims togeth-"
"You still listen to this drivel?" her husband teased as he appeared in the doorway of their walk-in, buttoning up his cuffs as he got ready for work.
âFor the record, this isnât one of my murder podcasts that I have on nearly twenty four seven,â Tooth replied with a grin. âI can't help it! I find everything about death and murder fascinating!â As was customary in their three months of marriage, Pitch Black stepped forward to kiss his wife on the mouth before leaving the room for work, leaving her to finish putting on her lipstick afterwards. It wouldnât do to smudge her efforts and give her a need to reapply it, after all..
"See you after work tonight, darling. Don't work too hard," he added with a wink, touching upon the inside joke between them that she had only married him for his money and to be a stay at home wife.. He licked his lips. "New lipgloss?" He asked, tasting the foreign flavor. "I liked your other one better."
"That's good to know. It was only a one use sample, so Iâll take it off my list, darling," Tooth replied with a coy smile. He smiled affectionately back at her before turning to finish getting ready. All too soon, he was calling out to her from their bedroom door.
"See you soon, darling!" She called out after him. She continued to apply her makeup as the news devolved back into the morning talk show, waiting to see her husband's car peel out of the driveway to get to the office. Once his lamborghini finally left the property, Tooth carefully set down her makeup brush and peeled the wax covering from her lips that protected her from the new lip gloss she had used that morning. She wiped her mouth with a makeup remover wipe to remove the excess lipgloss and wrapped everything up to be burned later. She had to be careful to remove all traces of evidence. She wasnât on her fourth rich husband by being careless.

You Give Me Cavities: Lost in Thought
Between the two, Tooth would have always pegged herself as the one to disappear into the stacks in their university library and let herself be consumed with the ever crushing need to study and learn more. Too often had she been the one to lose track of time and have to rush to her next class because she lingered too long between the shelves of unmitigated knowledge.Â
But this week? This week was final exam week, and Pitchâs thesisâthe one he had been procrastinating onâwas due.
Her boyfriend was one that tended to barely go to class and yet ace all of his tests, due to his understanding of the material. He grasped things much more easily than their classmatesâand if she had to admit it, herself includedâand he always seemed at ease at the end of a semester, secure in his grade for any particular class. This semester, however, had his capstone class, the one class that culminated everything he had learned in the past four years into a single grade that would determine if he graduated or not with a degree in hand.
And frankly, him procrastinating on this fifty page paper that was due at the end of the week just to manically rush it in the last 72 hours felt like poetic justice to Tooth, who had slaved over every single homework assignment, test, final paper and exam as if each one was the catalyst to whether she passed or failed her courses.
Tooth was enjoying his panic a little too much right now. But instead of telling him I told you so before he left to the library early in the morning the past two days, she merely handed him a coffee she prepared beforehand and kissed him goodbye. But now it was dinnertime on the closing of the second day, and Tooth hadnât seen hide nor hair of Pitch since early that morning. There would be sparse texts throughout the day, mostly in reply to her own correspondence, but no triumphant quips, no tangents, no side conversations at all today.
So as his dutiful girlfriend of two years, it was her job to hunt him down, thrust a sandwich in his hands, and make him stop for the day so he would have a fresh brain for editing tomorrow before the thesis comes due at midnight.Â
She just didnât plan on it taking her an hour to find him in the stacks.

You Give Me Cavities: First Date, I Guess
As Pitch took his customary walk after dinner, his attention was caught by a swell of joyous voices out in the park. Checking the street before crossing it, he wandered closer, curious as to what was going on. Unsurprisingly, it was Valentineâs Day, and it seemed like the city had put together a small festival in the park with various activities, with booths serving sweet snacks and drinks to tide the lovebirds over.
As single now as he ever had been every Valentineâs Day in his 28 years of existence, he turned to walk around the festivities when he saw her. Toothiana had been a classmate of his back in University, but they had lost touch when they had gone into separate programs. After a few aborted attempts to get together and hang out, they just lost touch entirely. What was most striking about seeing her here, however, was that she was alone, and she looked sad.
What passed for his heart nowadays twinged, and his feet shifted so he was headed towards her before he could overthink things.
âLong time no see, Ms. Flight,â he drawled as he approached, leaning on the guard rail from next to her as he looked out at the couples skating on the man-made ice rink. He was kind enough to ignore the fact that she took a moment to dash the tears from her eyes, or that she needed several seconds to get her voice under control.
âPitch! What are you doing here?â she asked, finally turning to face him. He likewise turned his head to meet her gaze.
âI live in the area and was taking my after dinner walk,â he replied easily. âAnd you?â She inhaled sharply and looked away. He faced the skaters again to give her some time, watching one couple skate for a few moments before they both tumbled to the ice. They laughed together, before getting back onto unsteady skates, and continuing on.Â
âMy boyfriend broke up with me,â Tooth quietly stated, her voice thick with tears. Pitch refused to look at her, to give her some privacy to collect herself. His words, however, were immediate.
âHis loss then,â he replied with a shrug.

You Give Me Cavities: Playground
The moon was full enough that night that Tooth didn't need the streetlamps to see by as she flew away from the home where she just retrieved two front teeth. She flew over the playground across the street and paused when movement in the shadows caught her eye. She couldn't help the scowl that flit across her face as she realized that Pitch stood in the shadows of the play equipment. It took her a moment longer to hear the soft crying coming from a huddled shape on the play equipment, and her anger ignited.
"PITCH!" she called out in fury as she suddenly zoomed towards him. She faltered when the Nightmare King's only response to her was to lift his hand up to her, palm outward, in a 'stop' gesture, as if trying to halt her advance. His eyes never left the huddled shape on the floor. As she drew closer, Tooth realized that the shape on the ground was a sleeping teen wearing tattered clothing. The boy had shaggy black hair, and had seemed to have been crying for a long while. Tooth hovered at Pitch's side, her ire focused wholly on him. "Pitch! He's done nothing to deserve your nightmares! Leave him alone!" she scolded, but again, Pitch practically ignored her.
"Tooth, do us both a favor and just leave. I'm busy here, can't you see? You can bother me another time," he told her simply, his gaze leaving the teen for a moment to lock eyes with her before turning his attention back to the huddled form on the ground. Tooth froze for a moment at the intensity of his gaze. Once that moment passed in silence, Tooth's scowl came back in full force before she flew up a bit to sit on top of the tallest slide, where she could see both the sleeping teen and the Nightmare King. Crossing her arms, she settled herself in to wait.
"Don't think anything of this, Pitch," she warned him as she settled in for what she assumed would be a long wait. "I'm merely staying here to keep an eye on you!" He merely shrugged her off, keeping his gaze on the sleeping form between them.

You Give Me Cavities: The Monkey and the King
Toothiana never thought she'd ever live to hear the words "tell us a story about Grandpa!" She couldn't help but still as her twin children peered up at her beseechingly. Never before have they asked about their maternal grandfather (nor about their paternal grandfather, but that was merely because Pitch didn't remember much of his life before his reign as Nightmare King. The Fearlings made sure of that). Often enough, they asked about stories of the Nightmare King and his pirates, about the daring Guardians who opposed him, or even a few stories about how the two sides reconciled.
This threw her for a loop.
"What brought this about?" she asked, carding her fingers through Damien's dark hair, making a mental note to schedule a haircut for him. His bangs were getting a little long. The two 8 year olds exchanged looks before replying, Regina taking the lead.
"We were making Father's day cards for Daddy in school a few days ago. Some of the kids were making some for their grandfathers, too," she started, averting her golden eyes. Damien took the lead from here.
"Some were sharing stories about their grandpas. We...we were just curious..." He trailed off, and Tooth couldn't help but smile fondly at them. Placing a kiss on each of their brows, she settled them both onto Reginaâs bed before cuddling the both of them.
