This is Andrew Jackson's uniform. You know, the guy on the 20. Dude with the crazy hair. The man who vetoed everything. The guy who founded the Democratic Party. The President who had an epic party at the white house where everyone got drunk. He walked around in that. He wore that. He fought in that. Wow. WOW. I could live in the American History museum forever.

Got a giant MLP coloring book the other day. So, I colored apple jack with some colored pencils. Still have a lot of work to do with colored pencils.

Inspiration

A face full of inspiration has splatted into my face. Such as throwing a cream pie. (Were the main ingredient is inspiration, and not cream.) I'm in Washington DC. Yesterday I had the great pleasure to go inside the portrait gallery! Oh my gosh! So amazing! There were some that captured the people so well. Like John Brown, THAT was amazing. It makes me want to paint and explore the art of portraits much more in depth. So excited to learn more and improve! Also, I must draw Andrew Jackson rocking out on the guitar. He would totally be into that.
