"Men are emotionally inept" Is a psyop. The more you interact with men and observe them, you realize they are very well aware of social graces and good emotional and interpersonal skills. Men invented sales, many of them are experts at reading people, winning them over etc. They have the soft skills to be mindful of another's feelings or empathize and think about what the other party might want or need at any given time.
The problem is-they only deploy these soft skills when they're trying to achieve some aim or objective. In other words, all their emotional skills are used selfishly. Many don't deploy these skills out of love or concern for another's feelings. Man when it's time to manipulate someone to get something he wants: in tune with all the person's needs and can rapidly calculate the best move to win them over/make them feel good. Same fucking man when it's time to think about what his wife of 15 yrs might want for Valentine's Day: *suddenly becomes an emotionally stunted cave men* Herp derp impossible for me to know, I'm not good at this feelings stuff. Yeah I don't buy it. They don't lack "emotional intelligence". They have the intelligence, they have the skill set. What they lack is the love, care, genuine concern, self sacrifice etc necessary to draw on this skill set for non-selfish reasons. Learning more about emotional intelligence is not going to help the underlying psychopathy many of them display.

i think surrogacy can be okay when it's done for family/friends without payment.
obviously anything pregnancy-related should be covered by the parents-to-be, but a monetary incentive is what makes surrogacy so predatory. however, i think living in a patriarchal society can also condition women into being more likely to "want" to help produce a baby for someone.
me and one of my friends talked about the ethics of surrogacy a few weeks ago, and i'm curious as to what other radfems think about it.
on one hand, it's useful for those in relationships where they can't have children by natural means (gay/lesbian couples, those with fertility issues, etc).
but on the other hand, it's just another way to buy a woman's body. oftentimes only the richer class can afford a surrogate, and a big reason for that is because they don't want pregnancy to ruin their bodies and looks.
there's more reasons, mostly cons tbh, but i'm too lazy to write them here, so onto the poll questions
1- no, surrogacy is never okay
2- surrogacy is only okay if it's for relatives and friends with fertility issues or gay/lesbian relatives and friends
3- surrogacy is only okay if it's for relatives with fertility issues or gay/lesbian relatives
4- it's her body and she can do whatever she wants with it (choice feminism route)
5- nuance (explain in replies)
6- bald

uh ohhh
questioning my sexuality again
most, if not all, of my relationships/sex with men have been a result of compulsory heterosexuality. but i know bisexuals can also experience comphet. i definitely like the male attention/validation way more than the men themselves. but am i a febfem w a severe history of comphet? or a lesbian w a severe history of comphet?
i wish i had thought about this more deeply before going febfem... it's hard to discern whether or not my disinterest in men is purely febfem misandry or just me getting better at dealing w comphet
idk 😔😔 any advice would be much appreciated

Should women be allowed + regularly walk around shirtless too when it's hot, like men do?
Yes/no/nuance
yes and it pisses me off that it's considered public indecency. i hate so much how the existence of breasts are sexualized

"demanded pronouns" is crazy, i think some of u are severely mentally unwell about trans people
First question:
Do you ever use the pronouns trans and nonbinary/genderq**** identified people demand of you(there will be a follow up question about how often you do that, this just means if you do it at all under any context, even just to get along with people, regardless of how ridiculous you think it is)?
Yes, but only TIFS
Yes, but only TIMs
Yes, but only for non binary identified females
Yes, but only for non binary identified males
Yes, for both TIMs and TIFs, but not nonbinary identified people
Yes, but only for all non binary identified people
Yes, but only for TIMs and non binary identified males
Yes, but only for TIFs and non binary identified females
Yes, for everyone
No, for everyone
Second question:
If you use demanded pronouns, under what settings do you capitulate?
Only in the workplace
Only among loved ones
Only among strangers
In the workplace and among loved ones
In the workplace and among strangers
Among loved ones and strangers
In all settings
If you can think of other settings that haven't occurred to me, feel free to add them.
(poll 2/2)

It seems almost all radfems are against commercial surrogacy, but I’m curious whether that also applies to altruistic surrogacy, meaning when someone carries a child for a friend or relative out of goodwill rather than for payment. Phoebe from Friends would be an example of this. What is your view?
I don’t oppose any surrogacy
I oppose commercial surrogacy, but I don’t have any problem with altruistic surrogacy
I don’t like it personally, but I think it should be generally accepted and legal
I’m against it because I think it subjugates women
I’m against it because I think it’s harmful to the child or treats them as a commodity

this isn't a poll, more of an open-ended question. for any radfems that used to wear makeup, how did you stop? did it take a lot of struggle or was it easy for you? and what tips, or encouragments, could you pass onto women that don't want to wear makeup anymore but can't bring themselves to stop?
(if you decide to not upload it i'm fine with that cause i know it may not be exactly the type of asks that are usually sent)
I kinda just put it down and didn't pick it back up... Actually I did for halloween, but that was more costumey makeup. It gets easier the longer you do it but it's really hard at first.

i don't date men but i disagree that dating them disqualified one from being a radfem. i don't think you need to be a perfect radfem, practicing every single thing you preach, to call yourself one. radical feminists live under the same patriarchy as everyone else and are still victim to the same societal pressures as other women.
i do, however, roll my eyes when i see someone in a relationship with a man call themself a "misandrist"
Since it's obvious that many here don't even know the fundamentals of radical feminism, I'm asking to please educate yourselves, radical feminism is not a nonsensical ideology like the alphabet gang's that allows you to identify as something you're not, you either are a radical feminist or you aren't. Question: before reading this, were you aware that you cannot call yourself a radical feminist if you date males?
1. I was aware and I practice what I preach.
2. I was aware but I don't have integrity so I don't even practice what I preach.
3. I wasn't aware and I want to have integrity so I'll practice what I preach.
4. I wasn't aware but I don't care about integrity so I don't even care about practicing what I preach.
5. Not osa, doesn't apply to me.
6. Not a radfem/just lurking/see results.
anon you're right and i love you but this isn't a helpful poll because the people who are voting here are not going to agree that they're being hypocritical. This poll won't yield useful information because this is a super loaded question and super loaded answers.

I just love it when women are mean to men. Like yesss, don’t give respect or show kindness to these fatherfuckers. Either ignore them or only interact with a mean girl attitude. Men deserve all the hate and toxicity. Keep it up, girls!! Be evil!

I can’t stress enough how important is to talk to older women. ask your grandma about her life, ask your mom about her life, ask them what they might regret and what they’re most proud of. if you don’t have contact with your grandma or mom for whatever reason, even following older women on tiktok works too. the patriarchy wants to create a major divide between younger women and older women and once you actually talk to older women about their lives you’ll understand why misogynists don’t want us to value anything they have to say.

In recent two days many of self proclaimed “Feminists” have revealed their racism and misogyny towards Women of Color.
Imane Khelif is a woman with a Disorder of Sex Development, she’s not a male!
Imane isn’t trans. She was born female and was raised as a girl. She has previously spoken about growing up in a rural village and not being able to take a part in sports due to her father not approving it, as he believed that “boxing isn’t for girls”.
Algeria is a very conservative and Muslim country, there is absolutely no way they would send a trans person to represent them.
The amount of racists who use Imane’s ethnic features as a “proof” that she’s a male is sickening.
