It wasn’t that Felix didn’t want to be on the trip. Of course the idea of getting away from Lockwood seemed nice, for most, but for him being surrounded by people that wanted nothing to do with him was almost nerve-racking. It seemed rare that Felix felt anxious about anything. He was normally overly confident in himself and his actions, but lately being confident felt draining. Like an act that he didn’t have the energy to keep up anymore. Despite the feeling of dread when he approached his room he still swung the door open loudly and with no care. His bag was hanging over his shoulder, white tank top showing off his arms even though there was a breeze outside, and a blank emotionless stare on his face. It took him a few seconds of blinking to recognize the petite girl that stood on the other side. He didn’t know Philly personally, but he knew of her. He knew that she was friends with Leo Fowler and that was enough to leave a bad taste in his mouth. Without saying a word he dropped his bag and fell backwards onto the nearest bed, looking up at the ceiling for a few seconds before finally greeting her,  ❝Hey...No one else wanted to share with me. I thought I should have my own room, but whatever. Aren’t you lucky?❞

When Felix heard Elias start speaking from just a few tables away his head shot up so fast he nearly gave himself whiplash. He felt he was doing better since their last interaction and the last thing he needed was more drama. It wasn’t like him to avoid people, but as soon as he had the chance he ducked his head down, trying to make a quick escape past the other male. What he didn’t realize is that he should have been paying attention to where he was going. He ended up tripping over a backpack on the floor and crashing into the table right behind the one Elias was sat at. In an effort to play it cool he slid into the seat as if he was meant to be there. Felix kept his face low so that he was, in his mind at least, unrecognizable.

There was a nervousness in the pit of his stomach. A feeling that was only ever present when he was around Saige. It was like sickness and excitement all at the same time, overwhelming enough to cause him to pause as he approached her door. He was showing up unnanouced, but that was nothing new. Aside from that Felix felt different than he did when they were together. Months of therapy and time alone did that to a person. After all the fighting the past few months he hadn’t left his house much. More so due to his parents orders, but he was starting to not mind it. When he texted Saige it was a complete accident, he had no intentions of reaching out to her, not yet at least. Not until he felt he had a chance to actually work things out. He may not have shown it with his actions, and that was something he was slowly starting to understand, but he did love her. He swallowed hard as he stood in front of her dorm, holding the small t-shirt in hand. Felix actually didn’t intend on giving it back to her. He liked having it for the memory and he was silently regretting saying anything about it, but at least it was an excuse to see her and that’s what he needed at the moment. He let his fist hit the door, three times, his knock was always the same. Even when they were together and he would pick her up for dates or parties. He could feel himself getting irritated when she didn’t respond right away, reaching up to knock again, stopping himself before he did. Stepping back and taking a deep breath, he ran fingers through his hair and tugged slightly until strands started to fall out, a bad habit he had picked up for when he needed to calm himself down.
