i dont think im gonna get rid of this blog, or keep it inactive. if someone wants to talk to me about my characters even if their blogs are inactive and im no longer rping them, ill gladly take those questions here!

i felt like i owed you guys one last bout of lily writing before i left

im really grateful to you all. i know i keep saying that, and i will until i die because its true. even with all of the drama and stuff, you guys brought me some real, genuine joy from all of this, and for that, i will be eternally grateful.

omg i am EXPLODING because ive had this idea in my mind for a while

so

sophronius and acacius

sophros the good one, acacius the bad one

right?

well ive had this idea for a while of, like, what if they switched? what if sophro became the bad one and acacius the good one?

heres how

sophro has just. gotten fed up with acacius. hes done. hes done asking people quietly and nicely to do the right thing. being nice and quiet has gotten him nowhere. so hes using acacius's methods now. it starts small. he speaks a little louder when trying to help someone make the right choice. he uses his physical form for intimidation more often. and when that stops working, he gets louder. starts yelling. hes not so quiet and gentle anymore. he finds himself mocking people for their bad choices and insulting them more often. and he doesnt stop. because its working. people are too scared to do the wrong thing. when they sense his presence, they do the morally correct thing. they live in fear of sophro.

meanwhile, when this starts, acacius is initially excited. i mean, hes been trying to get sophro to be like this since the beginning of time. and now, finally, hes doing it. so obviously acacius is gonna celebrate. but then sophro starts to be like this to acacius, too. hes like this with everyone. and now even acacius is starting to get worried. because theyre supposed to be opposites. if sophro becomes like acacius, then no one is ever going to listen to him. theyll be too scared to. he tries to stop sophronius, but its too late.

and it all reaches a climax when sophronius tries to attack reverie. he gets furious with her, he shouts and screams at her, a total opposite of the man she fell in love with. and acacius is the one who comes to her rescue, trying to reason with sophronius (how ironic that the voice of irrationality is trying to reason with the voice of reason). and because of this moment, they switch roles. literally. because of this moment, sophronius is no longer the voice of reason, hes the voice of irrationality. loud, angry, obnoxious, and terrifying. while acacius becomes the voice of reason. also loud, but in a funny, kind, relatable way that makes you want to turn to him for comfort and a good laugh.

anyways, yeah. this idea has been simmering in my brain for a while. its just a concept, i would never do that to poor rev and sophro, but its a fun idea.

RP-courtesy (PLEASE READ)

(OOC) Hey, recently I’ve been noticing some worrying patterns that I wanted to talk about. I know a lot of you guys have your own ocs that you rp with when interacting with my blog/other rp accounts. And while your characters can be really cool, there are some things that I think are important to make clear:

1. If your character has elaborate lore/plot outside of our accounts, it can be a lot to get constant updates about your characters in asks. Mods shouldn’t have to constantly keep up with your blog to be able to respond to your character.

2. It can be frustrating when your character involves themselves in plot moments that gives no control to other players. This includes using overpowered abilities to enforce something to happen without consulting the mod first. Sometimes mods aren’t going to want to roll with your idea/have their own plans for their characters that you may be disrupting.

3. It’s always good practice to keep the fun for everyone when roleplaying. Sometimes, your character won’t always get their way, and that’s okay. Rp is a two-way street, and sometimes it’s more fun to let other people’s ideas steer the wheel.

4. This isn’t to discourage asks/rp interactions btw. Just letting you know that when you are initiating an interaction, mods aren’t obligated to go with it. Don’t be discouraged or try to brute force it, it just makes it more frustrating for everyone.

TLDR: Don’t railroad people’s rp accounts. It’s not cool. And just be thoughtful. Thanks

sign: his happiest dreams are from long before the circus. when he was still young. before he felt like a burden. before octavia and katrina were magical girls. he dreams of laughter and joy and playing with his sisters like the little kid he once was. occasionally he dreams of the few times he was happy with bob, or he dreams of being a great father to milo, but his dreams are mostly about his childhood before the magical girl stuff.

octavia: she hardly ever dreams. at least, she rarely ever has good ones. she doesnt sleep long enough to remember them. when she does sleep enough for a dream, though, its usually bad, so she tries not to sleep for very long. the most common good dream she has is really short, but its more of a memory than a dream, of her singing sign and katrina to sleep when they were really little.

simon (my simon, not soups lol): similarly to octavia, simon rarely ever dreams. not because of lack of sleep (though he does hardly ever sleep), but because he just. doesnt dream. when he does get the rare dream, its usually vague and hard to understand, but they usually give him good feelings. what those good feelings are, he couldnt tell you.

milo: his dreams are always happy. always. every single dream. hes never had a nightmare once in his entire existence. he often dreams of hanging out with bob and sign. sometimes avian is there, too. or sun, or mage, or really anyone whos family. sometimes sophronius shows up in his dreams to chat with milo, which just makes the dreams even better in milos opinion. hes just an all out innocent bean :3

sophronius: he doesnt dream for himself. he often ends up inside the dreams of others instead. he is a being of the mindscape, after all. he tries to enter nightmares more often, to calm people, but when he needs a break from that, he visits milos dreams, or reveries dreams.

acacius: same thing as sophronius. he doesnt dream for himself as a being of the mindscape. he often enters peoples more embarrassing dreams to have a good laugh.

billie: they dream of causing chaos. thats it. theres never anyone specific in their dreams.

kat: their dreams are kinda scattered and whatever. part of their lore is that they were around before pomni, so theyve been in the circus for a while, which causes their dreams to be kinda... messed up. not, like, "horrifying" messed up, just more... "abstract and undefined" kinda messed up. their happiest dreams are of them in the real world, walking along a beach at sunset.

lyubov: she dreams of her family in the real world. she misses them, and her friends, and her boyfriend, and she wants them all back, so shes always happy to dream about them. her happiest dreams are of the times she got to spend with said boyfriend in the real world.

Daily Question: enough about angsty nightmares.. what about your characters dreams? What would be their happiest dreams while sleeping? Would they be with anyone in the dream, any specific place or scenario?

Void sticks his tongue out at Acacius before tilting his head at him.

“So you’re a shapeshifter, are you only limited to mimicking people? Or animals too? Do you have any limitations?”

Void hovered around Acacius whilst he asked his questions. It was hard to actually look at him when he was talking, since he wouldn’t stop moving..

*acacius rolls his eyes, then forces a smile.*

Well, what kind of shapeshifter would I be if I couldn't be whatever I wanted to be? For example...

*he turns into a snake about the size and appearance of a garden snake, just completely black. his tiny ass stares up at void for a few seconds, tilting his head as if to drive his point home, then his voice speaks in voids mind.*

{See? I can be whatever I want, with no limits. This form is too small for what I usually prefer, but... it works to prove my point. Might as well show you my other favorite...}

*he starts to change back... and gets stuck halfway through.*

Wha-

*his bottom half is still the same size as before, which makes his top half proportionally tiny as well. he stares at his little hands and his tiny bottom half for a few seconds in disbelief, continuously trying to change back over and over as he does.*

...Fuck-

*he slowly lifts his head to stare angrily into space, not really looking at anything in particular, and growls under his breath.*
