This was fucking me last night!! I went to visit my friend at a bar and I would usually FaceTime someone in my life just to tell me that I look okay, my outfit isn’t stupid, etc etc. But I stopped and told myself that I, mf dope ass Lola, was the only confirmation that I needed to feel pretty and this irrational fear of “being ugly or dumb” is just my anxiety talking. Legit had to put in my AirPods and play music to calm my mind as I walked up, but I did it! So cheers to all of us that struggle with outside validation but are working through it…I see you 🥹
