It would have been a great finale had we gotten a full season and proper character and plot development for all.
I will never forgive them for treating Jack in such a diminishing way. He was a great character, he had values, an interesting back story and a vrey promising future and they just threw that all away, for what?
He was abandoned as a baby, grew up in the system, was abused but never let his traumatizing past define his ablities. The writers missed a golden opportunity to adress a serious issue. What happens to the firefighters who can no longer fight! It would be amazing to see Jack's journey through this new path that he was forced to follow. And even in the finale, they reduced him to being a side kick for Andy.
He deserved more and I will never stop saying that.
Also, yes it was very moving watching Prue go down her father's career path. But I feel like this needs to stop. Children are not their parents projection. I would rather see her follow any other dream.
Of course I am happy for Maya/ Carina and of coure Travis/ Vic. Souls mates are not always romantically involved but spiritually, and these two had the most honest and realistic relationship out of all.
Farewell Station 19, despite some disappointments, you will be missed!

What kind of writers are these? They brought Kate back but threw away all the amazing potential thay had with Gibson.
I refuse to believe that this is his final day at 19. He could work as a trainer, as a volunteer for the clinic he loves so much. When the show started Gibson was probably the best firefighter and now that's all gone to waste. They may call themeselves family but at the end of the day, Gibson has no one.
Andy will be focused on her job.
Maya/Carina have their own little family to worry about.
Waren too has his family and baby Prue.
Travis has to figure out what, and more accurately WHO he wants in his life.
Vic even though single, is finally a happy and healthy place of self discovery.
Jack Gibson, the man who has saved so many lives. The man who was always there for his friends, no questions asked. The man who experienced abandonment, abuse, loss and rejection. The man who wanted to help those who couldn't help themselves. The man who initiated the Clinic! That man deserves better than to have his whole life packed in a bag.

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN + the 'Obi-Ani' lightsaber spin
Hayden came up with a move when we did the second film that was like your move, like signature […] for me it always felt like your move because he was really good at it. — Ewan McGregor

I know I am late in the game but I just finished season 4 and I have a bone to pick with the writers. What the hell happened to Jack's character? He was ambitious, work driven, the first of the bunch to be promoted to Lieutenant, always two steps ahead of everyone and somehow this all all gone down the drain. He seems to have forgotten all about his career and dream to become a Captain. They have brushed over his ptsd. Andy rejected him cause she didn't want to get married, slept with Ryan before even officially breaking up with him and to top that, married Sullivan like a year later. Maya dumped him and prioritized her career. He made a horrible mistake by hooking up with Eva and not ending it once he learned she was married. He tried to make things work with Inara even though he was clearly not in love with her, only to be turned down once again. He is always there supporting every single one of this team mates but somehow they never seem to be there for him. They always insult him, diminish him and use him as the butt of the joke.
Jack deserves better and I hope he finds true love in the next seasons. But aside form that, I want the old badass firefighter I grew to care about!

The Winchesters Finale
Warning, this is a rant.
I wanted to support this show. I wanted it soooo badly to be good but it was an absolute disappointment for one simply reason.
It didnt make sense!!!!Dean, is the Dean we came to love because of his character. And his character was shaped by his experiences, his pain, his loss .... Everything.
We have seen this play before in What is and what should never be. A demon free life does not equal a happy life. This show, this ending brings nothing to the spn universe. No development, no closure, nothing!!!There are so much more interesting storylines they could have explored.
Of course I still love SPN and the characters I came to care about throughout all these years.
This show never happened and to my surprise, Dean is still driving baby until he hits the ocean.

100% agree with all this!!!
What happened to all his promises of never leaving Hailey? What happened to his declared love for her? What happened to his desire to protect Chicago?
I honestly can't understand the logic behind this crappy writing. Do they want us to hate Jay so that we will feel bad when they eventually kill him off? Has he been missing/ dead all this time and for whatever reason they keep it a secret from Hailey?
I don't know anything apart one thing.
I no loger recognize the character I once so loved and defended.
There is no way Jay Halstead chooses to stay away from his wife any longer than he has to. And he definitely doesn’t do it without telling her.
