Need more Robin with internalized homophobia. Robin being so defeated she won't even think poorly of people who reject her because she sees it as such a natural thing for them to be disgusted by her. Robin who won't tell people she likes women because she doesn't want to make them uncomfortable. Robin who can't bring herself to say the words "lesbian" or "girlfriend", not even to herself, because she hates the pitiful way in which they sound in her mouth, like she's putting a target on her back, like she's embarrassing herself. Robin taking a long time before she can talk about girls and express her feelings around Steve, because it's so new to her, the idea that she can be fully herself with someone, and part of her restrains her because she doesn't want to cross a line. Robin who won't touch Nancy after telling her the truth because she doesn't want to scare her, even though she only sees her as a friend (to Nancy's dismay but that's for another day) and touch is just one of her love languages. She likes holding hands with her friends and invading their personal space, but nowadays she won't even look at Nancy in the eye, scared to seem predatory, or to treat her like a man would. Robin hating herself when she obsesses over a girl's body, feeling disgustingly boyish.
