Caveman - In the City

The first single from their upcoming self-titled sophomore effort, "In the City" finds Brooklyn rockers Caveman achieving an anthemic sound by playing to their strengths. The band pairs a heavy synth line with an intricate, propulsive beat, and their command of pace results in a climax that feels natural and earned. Poolside - Next To You (Fan Video!)

Don’t let the fact that this video bills itself as a “fan video” fool you: It’s much better than that. I’d go with “unofficial/unsolicited” — yet, apparently appreciated by the band —  this is a nicely conceived and executed stop-motion tale of a plug looking to stick itself into an outlet.

And yes, electricity is sexy sometimes.
