Did the sky change it's hue?,
Or is it just me feeling blue?,
Hopelessness and anguish came to me like a flu,
And took my joy to a place I have no clue.
I am a withering flower during summer,
A tree covered in frost, shivering all throughout winter,
I am a futile leaf in fall scattered and considered as litter,
A plant that is not crescent when spring is around the corner.
Unmindful I am of buoyant cheer,
My incarnation is only acquainted with drear,
O, brothers and sisters I beseech of you to hear,
Emulate me not and ne'er shatter that hope radiating in your crimson cheeks so dear.
