What is Cubs favourite activity to do with Yelena :3

Mm! Outside of Yelena's bed, Cub's favorite activity would be working out with her. Somewhere, it is relatively safe (so they don't internally click over to guard mode too hard) where they can max out their physical bodies and then go home to wind down and rest. Yelena's a very responsible pet owner, so she knows it's important to wring out all her cub's energy daily. :3

what kind of presents would puppy get?

ideally things that she can't swallow and cause an inadvertent medical emergency; steve buys puppy nontoxic paint, yelena buys a new tug a war rope and big fluffy mittens that she knows natasha will love but puppy will hate, melina buys some overly complex food puzzle (she buys the kind with a suction cup on the bottom bc puppy just flips or throws the old ones she bought until the treats come out), and wanda buys puppy a fluffy lil cape with a hood to keep her warm

Can I ask how much Cub is allowed to mark Yelena? And maybe how much Yelena enjoys marking Cub?

(There are two wolves inside me: one is desperate to have my entire neck covered in hickies. The other dies every time I can’t hide even the tiniest of hickies

Can I ask how much Cub is allowed to mark Yelena? Yelena is a relatively private person. So, Cub is allowed to kiss, lick, and bite her neck, but they have been strictly instructed not to leave a mark.

(There was a long weekend when the two went particularly feral, and Yelena had to wear a shemagh tactical wrap as a scarf to work for a week. The Widows were merciless with their knowing looks and well-timed teasing remarks. Yelena hadn't stormed off from a table with a bottle in a long while, but she did that day.)

Cub is allowed to mark Yelena anywhere that her suit covers — favorite spots for both are the tops of her hips and inner thighs.

And maybe how much Yelena enjoys marking Cub? Yelena has grown to love Cub wearing the evidence of her possession. When she started suiting Cub with high-collared base layers in public, she began to take marking seriously. It became part of their ritual to reconnect after time apart, even if it was just for the day. Late at night, she pushes Cub on their back, tips their chin up, and leans down to slowly lick and suck in her marks, humming softly in response to Cub's low rumbles and soft whimpers.

Given Cub’s past, I think meeting Maria’s highly-trained pet might set off a few of their old neural pathways. Maria’s pet (MP) maintains intense alertness and monitoring. Cub would stiffen up and try to match MP’s “on duty” vibe.

Given Yelena’s easy way of working, Cub has learned to trust her to carry half the burden of watching over everything the last few months. 

When MP’s hyper-vigilance catapults Cub back into guardhund mode, everyone in the house would probably mark the change, especially Yelena and Puppy. Natasha’s home is usually low-key and relaxed, so it would be noteworthy to have two HK-9s checking and re-checking doors and staring at their owners.

Yelena knows precisely what is happening, calls Cub over to sit between her legs, and starts massaging their neck and shoulders to calm them down.

When more distraction is needed, Yelena slides down from the couch to the ground and starts to wrestle Cub gently. Excited by the newness of Yelena on the floor, Cub starts to snap out of it. 

Eventually, the rough-housing builds, and Cub rolls into MP accidentally. As MP whips around to growl, they run into Cub’s rock-hard shoulder and slowly look up. 

Drunk with Oxytocin from wrestling with Yelena, Cub puts a paw on MP’s chest, playfully smashes them to the ground, and just... lays on them. Maria stands up directly, but Yelena’s knife appears from nowhere to warn her to sit back down. 

After a tense few seconds, Puppy belly-flops on Cub’s back, and the owners can’t help but start to laugh. (Or, in Maria’s case, crack a little smile after she verifies her pet is unharmed and, in fact, getting their eyebrows licked.)

It takes the puppy pile about thirty minutes to form, storm, and norm pack order, but by the end, there’s a lot of sniffing and bonding. 

Cub would definitely be fascinated with MP’s Titanium-capped canine teeth. 

After Cub and Yelena return home, they spend part of the night debating about Cub getting similar caps. Yelena ends the argument by saying that she wants Cub’s mouth working in other ways. There’s a fade-to-black when she leads Cub to the back to instruct them through a little demonstration.

How would Maria's pet react to meeting Cub? I imagine they're both very similarly competent in the physical sense but Cub seems to be a touch softer esp ever since they get to hang out with puppy more? 🥺

oh maria's pet is very curious when it comes to cub! lots of sniffing going on. i'd have to get @foggyxrayspecs opinion on it, but i do think cub might be able to finagle their way into getting maria's pet to play
