hi! i've been super obsessed with your iwaoi drawings lately and i'm so happy to find an amazing iwaoi artist active on tumblr because i feel like a lot have left ;-; i'm just wondering if you have any favorite iwaoi fics or authors? and i hope you stay safe with everything going on in your country, i can't imagine what it must be like ❤️❤️

what r your favorite iwaoi headcanons! i love your art it's so cute yet sad/full of longing... it rly sticks with me all week after i've seen it.

thank you so much /// TTT TTT that's a huge compliment really!! i always think that maybe i'm projecting too much sadness to iwaoi [HAHA] which makes me hesitant to share some arts/comics;;; (╯_╰) i'm glad it's not all bad. for my fav iwaoi hcs....there’s too many flavors of hc; angsts and fluffs yknow? for now i’ll just share the fluffs ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ!!!

iwaizumi was the first to fall [in love] - iwa’s love is the shape of oikawa tooru, ever since the beginning.

their language of love is physical touches - [i recommend reading this comic, i think it captures the hc perfectly.] their video call lasts 36+ hours - these two would vc their self-study sessions together and probably leave it on while sleeping. oikawa is the first one to propose - but iwaizumi said no because he wanted be the one to propose and so these two just goes back and forth proposing to each other till the other one relents. married iwaoi chooses not to change their last names - Iwaizumi (岩泉/ Rock Fountain/Spring) and Oikawa (及川 / River) is as important as Tooru (徹 / To Go Through) and Hajime ( 一 / Beginning) to them. their last names are part of who they are; they wouldn’t want change anything about it. [this hc’s from twitter but i don’t remember who posted it TT TT, i really liked it.] iwaoi are based off alexander the great and hephaestion - [link to an analysis about the parallels between them.] alexander the great and the death of hephaestion which humanizes him is so so much like iwaoi. iwaizumi is the one who grounds oikawa; one who reminds oikawa of his humanity. i don’t want this to be too long so i just listed down the ones i remember from the top of my head. my interpretation of iwaoi is influenced by my favorite iwaoi writers ( ; ω ; ) gotta love the pining childhood friend tropes

who're your other ships in haikyuu? and will you be drawing them?

AH,,, well i'm not really the rarepair type of person so if a ship has a lot of canon fodder then,,, i'm most likely shipping it asdkjghhg// but aside from iwaoi; i mainly like bkak, hnkg, krkn, and quite recently, sakuatsu!! i've drawn all of these ships but haven't shared them yet. maybe in the future...!

i read your faq say you use paint tool sai and clip studio paint, which one do you recommend for beginner? hope you're doing well!

i think for artists new to digital drawing, paint tool sai will be the easiest to adjust to! it's a simple program, the tools are straight forward and you can experiment a lot more loosely with what it has to offer. csp on the other hand...... for me, i was really intimidated by csp when i first tried it;;;; it took me 2 months ? before i got used to it. to this day i still don't 100% understand the program with its constant update-// csp is a lot more complicated because it has SOOO much to offer! it's like photoshop but,,,kinder,, [and cheaper] they're both really good!! i recommend sai if you're just starting out, and csp if you wanna try all the cool wacky things artists do. [3D assets, perspective rulers aaaaaah] you can also download brushes made by others and go ham with it!! that's what i like most about csp!!

i’ve been eyeing my watercolor set for the past few weeks and finally got the courage to pick up traditional art again after 2 years...

[i’m sorry to the traditional artists judging me] watercolor is so ...difficult.. you gotta learn how to water bend before you can do this thing aaaaa!!! 

suna was painted on a normal paper and it started to clump up because of the water so i switched to an actual watercolor paper for oikawa LMAOO

this is the first and last time i’ll ever draw suna (°◡°);;
