a feline-descended humanoid species, zatarians were said to come from far beyond the outer rim before settling on a planet located within it. though they once carried physical characteristic of their feline ancestors, evolution and other stuff over the years has lessened those traits greatly, now mostly resembling humans with some distinctions.

their eyes are entirely black with gold irises, which can subtly glow in the dark. zatarians are also able to see more greatly in dark compared to some species.

they have an extra set of canines, 4 canines on top and 4 on the bottom. their canines are particularly sharp and are rather strong, having the potential to bite through dense materials.

they are one of several species that have a binary-vascular system, where they have two hearts instead of one.

their average height tends to range from 6 feet to 9 feet, with the occasional exceptions.

though they can be technically classified as omnivores, zatarians primarily live on a carnivore-based diet. some cook their meat, some don't.

zatarians are natural technopaths, though their level of abilities vary from person to person.

though most of their physical characteristics have disappeared over the years, zatarians still retain some of their feline traits such as purring, growling, etc.

they can survive in the cold vacuum of space for a short period of time, though how long tends to vary.

hair length tends to vary; unlike some species ( such as humans ), zatarian hair doesn't grow continuously. instead, depending on their genes, zatarian’s hair can grow up to a certain length ( or not grow any hair at all ) and stop there. if cut, the hair will grow back to that length over a period of time though slowly.
