Pondering Azem headcanons...

I feel like it’s easy enough to create an “Azem” version of one’s character when your character is hyur, but how are folk with miqo’te/elezen/au ra/roegadyn/viera/hrothgar handling the, hrm, non-human traits of these races? All of the unsundered we’ve seen have only hyur features - no horns or tails or pointy ears or whatnot. What kind of explanation, if any, have folk with non-hyur WoLs come up with to fit their WoL’s features onto an Azem headcanon?
