If you want me to understand avant-garde, execute it in this seductive way.
Eugenio Recuenco blends Picasso paintings, fashion and contemporary photography in the best way ever.

Haven't felt this inspired for a long time. Nadia Lee Cohen just gets me.
Prior to finding these images this morning, I had already decided one of my next tattoos will be X's lyrics "Your phone's off the hook / But you're not" and this year I'm going to go blonde.
You heard it here first - steal it and you're copy cat scat.

It has probably been close to a year since I posted on here.
This quilt by Ben Venom is made from Harley Davidson t-shirts and leather. It's of me taking on the world!

Li Hongbo
Art that romances my eyes but tinkers with my mind is ranked highly in my books. Li Hongbo's porcelain-esque sculptures are in fact delicately crafted from layers of paper. Hongbo's method gives his sculptures the extraordinary ability to not only move and transform, but to also expand the audiences experience.
My appreciation for sculpture is becoming so overwhelming that I am beginning to understand why I feel more content in spaces surrounded by objects than I do with real people.

Leonard Freed One of my all time favourite documentary journalists. Leonard Freed is the photographer that I always thought I could be.

Nicholas Alan Cope & Dustin Edward Arnold I cannot dismiss the work of these two artists. As I perv through their projects, a lot of them remind me of other artists who I adore (and have previously posted about). I am beginning to feel that those of you who do not know me, know more than what I intended to creep out.

Tomasso Sartori I’m having a romance with Tomasso Sartori’s apocalyptic images. These dark and majestic compositions create a calm and quiet outlook on a human-absent world.

Menno Aden
Menno Aden's work is so aesthetically pleasing that if I am having a bad day, I might just start popping over to his website so I can calm down.

Wolfgang Laib German artist Wolfgang Laib uses the organic substances of milk, pollen, beeswax and rice to create his installations. In 1975 Laib created his first Milkstone - now an ongoing series of a rectangular, polished, white marble block that contains a thin layer of milk which is to foster the illusion of a solid form.

Carlie Trosclair
I would usually be very hesitant to explore new dimensions in an altered universe, however Carlie Trosclair's installations seem somewhat familiar. The folds and textures in Trosclair's work are exceptionally romantic! This is what I dream of my dreams being like...
