I found a cicada at work today in pretty rough shape, I think she must have gotten clipped by a car or something. Initially I thought she was a boy until upon closer inspection I realized she was a girl and the white stuff on her side was her eggs (I think but don't yell at me if I'm wrong) which was not a good sign, I know I'm not exactly a cicada anatomy expert but I'm pretty sure eggs aren't supposed to go out that way. I went to check on her again a few hours later and she had unfortunately passed away but I took her home with me so I could pin her and memorialize her

Anyways a vendor was selling one of these fancy robes with fancy flowy sleeves that you see in movies when some lady receives news that her husband died under mysterious circumstances and she was definitely involved in it but she has to pretend she's devastated you know what I mean. I wanted one so bad but it was almost $100 and they also didn't fit so I couldn't but it felt so dramatic and it was great
