🐺 — “ I’m not sure what you mean, miss….?”  He was sure he didn’t got her name.

“You can drop the miss. It makes me feel old.” it��s not like she was centuries old. Nope. Not at all. “Just call me Sayu.”

Big bad Wolf Bigby

He took a quick swig of the coffee which he soon regretted due to the hot fluid burning his oesophagus as he swallowed. But his attention diverted to the small question asked by the fox who was still talking to him. He was looking forward to a peaceful morning to himself, but something told him it would be rude and unwise to reject her.

"Sure, why not. Maybe then you can tell me a little more about yourself." He flashed the young fox a gentle smile, he would always remain a gentleman to the ladies, and it was what he was raised to believe thanks to his mother and a certain princess. But he hoped it wasn't too much to deter her, sometimes he feared he may have been a little too friendly, he wasn't the type to be trying to get into a woman's pants. 

He offered her a seat at the table he had chosen close to the window, it gave him a better vantage point to keep a look out for any troublemakers stumbling about on the street.

"So, tell me more, who are you? How long have you been working here?"

Another giggle left her lips as she saw him drink the coffe without any hesitation. Sayu wondered if he burnt his tongue a bit after all drinking hot coffee like that has got to hurt one’s throat or tongue at least. 

She blinked a bit caught of guard. About herself? She wondered what the sheriff would like to know and shrugged. “Sure I can talk a bit about myself. So what would you like to know then?” Sayu sat across from the wolf and waited for him to ask what interessted him about her past, her story or whatever came to the wolves mind 

Not that she was detered by his curiosity or manners of speech. No she was quite intruiged that he wanted to know about her and so far he had been polite and nice so who was he not to return that kindness?

At least he was told that a few times. Sayu only hoped that the wolf listened to those who told him that he wasn't such a bad fella instead of those who didn't know him or saw his raw appearance and the other things that lied in the past.

Another pun which turned into a joke! Oh my he really was behaving rather well and charming today which did actually quite shock the fox but it made her feel kind of giddy and happy as well to see this side of the wolf beside the obvious one he showed when he went around the woodlands and did his job.

"Ah! You called me kiddo again!" now she did pout though as she turned around as well and grumbled at him. 

"Oh! What I forgot to ask Bigby. Just out of curiosity." a annoying trait most of the foxes had. They were all too curious for their own good. Even Sayu most of the time sometimes.  "Do you only help when there are problems with other Fable's or with Mundy's as well?"

"I get that more than you’d expect." he said, dryly, about her calling him not as bad as she thought. He sighed. Maybe he should change that. People didn’t seem to respect him any more, after all; but then what kinda sheriff would he be? Swings and roundabouts, supposedly. Everyone either thought he was asshole incarnate or useless as a Sheriff. There was no in between with fables. He let his thoughts return to the rambling fox in front of him. Foxes were odd creatures. Raynard popped into his mind for a moment; but that was a different fox, after all. He knew well enough to stay on his toes around Sayu.

He rolled his eyes at the charmer comment. “Charming isn’t my job, really.” he told her, though he was a little bit amused. “Long paw of the law, and all that.” a joke? Jesus Christ Bigby you might make her faint if you keep that up. “Alright. See you around, kiddo.” he turned to head back the way he’d come, most likely to his office. Fox person greeted. Notes to be made, then on with his day.

Having the late shift was sometimes really a drag but Sayu couldn't really decide when she had to work after all. Out of the corner of her eyes she noticed a bright light which caught her attention and seemed to wake her up from her drozzy state. Immediately she ran towards the light and it soon vanished. Immediately after that she almost ran into a man. He almost was as bulky as Bigby and some other people Sayu knew but his clothing was a bit different. 

She tilted her head and looked curiously at the stranger. "Are you a cosplayer?" the fox blurted out before she could stop herself.

Sayu felt goosebumps all over her body and a shiver run down her spine. She looked around and soon enough found the source of her previous uncertain feelings. It was a dark skinned person with blue hair. Not unusual considering you could dye your hair whichever color you liked. Still.. she felt like their gaze was piercing her through.

The fox was soon fed up and walked over to the person. "Why are you staring at me?" she asked unnerved and maybe a bit hostile.

Half asleep Sayu didn't seem to notice the warning sign on he floor to tell others that the ground was still wet and slurring around like she did it was bound to happen that she slipped and almost fell unto Flycatcher. Only she fell - face well rather head first into the bucket that was there. Noticing the sudden darkness she put her hand on the bucket on her now wet head. The fox sighed softly. This could only happen to her seriously.

She pulled the bucket from her head and was greeted with the sight of the janitor from the woodlands. "Sorry for the mess Flycatcher.."

It was a bit surprising sure that the little cutie was staring but not unusual. She wondered if it was her hair that was so long and in twin tails or maybe the color why she was staring. Who knows maybe she even noticed that Sayu wasn't a human Mundy? Whelp wither way she didn't really mind.

"A friend of yours?" now this was surprising. She wouldn't have thought that she looked like something. Maybe she had a doppelgänger in this world? How rather amusing. She couldn't help but giggle at the thought. This was after all only a temporary form. Eventually she would have to choose another one because she outlived Mundy's and they would suspect her because she never got older. At the mention where they were the fox looked around. At the port huh? So she was on a island? Sayu swore that she would definitely get her revenge on whoever send her here screw that she would probably get in trouble with Miss Snow and Bigby - whoever dared to prank the Kitsune and send her to another fricking world deserved to be punished.

This time a nervous laugh escaped her lips as the cutie asked if she was not from here. That was actually point blank but she probably didn't know how much she was spot one with that little question. "Is it that obvious?" she asked at first that the other caught on rather quickly. "Actually I'm not from here." from anywhere around wherever here was but she didn't need to disclose such information. Yet.

[ ♫ ] — Indigo optics would widen for a moment as the other spoke to her — blushing a little as she called her a ’cutie’ and for a moment at first sight, she’d almost mistake her for one of her nakama, Mia, blinking confused only to snap back as she recalled the other’s question.

    ❝Oh — sorry for staring, you just look  a lot like a friend of mine❞ she’d sheepishly admit with a light chuckle. ❝You’re at the port of course❞ she’d finally respond. ❝I’m not sure of the island’s name yet since I, myself, just landed here with my family a few moments ago❞ a small pause before wondering. ❝Are you not from around here either?❞

"The coffee shop is closed for today." Sayu called over her shoulder as she brought the last dishes to the counter and turned around to be greeted with the sight of Bigby Wolf. The fox tilted her head wondering what the sheriff was doing here in a Mundy coffee shop. Maybe he just wanted to drink coffee? It didn't have to be trouble or business that brought him here after all.

She looked towards her colleague who looked at their new buff costumer with a worried look. Sayu shook her head and smiled reassuringly at the Mundy. Bigby wouldn't crash the place. Or so she hoped. After all she had heard a lot about the temper of the big bad wolf also known as the sherif and peacekeeper of Fable Town. Not that she believed that he was that bad like the rumors said. She walked over to the wolf and looked up to him. He was taller than her after all. "Can I help you with something Sheriff?"

The young woman turned around her head slightly her green eyes locking in unto the male with the straw hat. The two others were none of her business and her eyes normally never would be directed at someone with such an icy glare she was sending the teen right now. "Oh? I wasn't aware that you have any right to decide when I leave." she scoffed now fully turned around and crossed her arms over her breast.

"So do pray tell mister Strawhat what is it you still want from me?"

            She was done, giving a last glare at the raven hair she turned around in one movement and not hiding her anger and determination. He wouldn’t blame her, she had all the right to be angry, but he wasn’t exactly done with her either. The two men present in the room knew it and they both stopped her from reaching the door. Luffy didn’t even bother to get up from his chair and take a few steps towards her, simply looking at her for a second before looking back down at his navigation map.

            “You go when I tell you to go.”

Sayu chuckled softly as he finally seemed to have placed it. Or how he had called it and smiled sheepishly. "Really now my times doing tricks on mundy's and fables alike is over. I rather enjoy watching how this world plays out." she didn't need to make others more miserable then they already were here after all. "Busted~!" of course foxes were mischievous and even though she had only said moments ago that she enjoyed watching more Sayu did play a few pranks every now and then.

Those were rather playful nature though and she definitely hadn't spirited someone away or something like that! "Bigby it is then." the fox disliked titles but some people just wanted always to be called by that. Only this particular legend and fable had a knack of giving people nicknames but still respected those who wanted to be called by their name and or title. Hence why she was happy that Bigby gave her the okay to use whichever she liked to call him by. Of course she would choose his name. At the mention of her being a troublemaker or getting herself into trouble Sayu smiled at the wolf. "Why thank you~! You really aren't as bad as they say you are." there were a lot of rumors after all about the Sherif which - mind you - Sayu did not believe one bit. People and Fables alike it seemed like to talk about others behind their back and spread rumors and stories of the old time. "I'll be sure to let you know then if I run into any trouble Bigby."

Noticing the smile Sayu couldn't help but smile as well. "Oh my! That was quite a nice pun! And you should smile more often if you don't mind me saying that you look like quite a charmer when you do!" she teased him a bit. The fox was already starting to be at ease with the wolf and his particular smell as well as the Huff and Puff cigarette smell - she could always block that out. Somehow.

"Just trying to place you." he replied. Being ridiculously tired probably had a lot to do with his squinty stare, but he shrugged that fact off, exhaling smoke. He tilted his head away from her so she wouldn’t get a faceful of the pungent stuff. "And I know that foxes have a habit of being… mischevious. You should know that I don’t tolerate troublemakers around here." he shrugged ever so slightly, considering her again. "And it’s Sheriff Wolf, or Bigby. No need to use my full title." he gave her another long look, then puffed on his cigarette again. "And if anyone messes with you, if you have any problems, come see me. Alright? I’m not just here for the muscle." he gave her a hint of a rare smile.

Wasn't that..? Beauty? Sayu tilted her head as she saw the other across the street. The coffee shop was just closing off and she had one of the last shifts so when she exited it this late and saw the other fable - which she hadn't really talked to but mind you everyone knew the more fabulous Fable's - she decided to call out to her.

"Beauty!" she looked from left to right and ran over to the other on the opposite street. After she caught her breath she looked up at the beautiful girl in front of her. "H..-Hey. I was just curious..- Oh! I'm Sayu by the way I live in the woodlands too!" she didn't know her after all and it was only polite to introduce herself right? "Like I said.. I was just wondering. What are you doing here?"
