Mackiah my precious little guy <3

Mackiah | He/him | MBTI type | Achillean | Tiger Hybrid | 21 | 172cm / 5’8

Mackiah is a quieter guy with a BIG personality. He’s very laid back and chill, but has a tendency to take the lead in situations. He’s a major extrovert and hates being by himself, he thrives being surrounded by lots of people and honestly doesn’t mind having the spotlight on him. Hes an idol trainee, a skilled dancer and a pretty decent singer, though not lead vocalist material. He’s super into sports, especially volleyball and cross country - he loves the comradery that comes with being part of a team, is a good strategist and finds comfort in taking the time to make sure everyone is organised and has what they need. He’s currently being scouted for a potential All Feline Boy Group as a prospective leader, but it has only been mentioned in passing. Nonetheless he’s very excited. He loves his clothes, and either dresses in a super soft, comfy, diy style or a very sporty letterman jacket and tank tops kinda style. It isn't uncommon to see him dragging his friends through clothing stores whilst he tries on outfits.

Common attributes/symbols: His signature colour is green, His stripes are natural and travel all the way down his body.

Common activities/hobbies: Dance/Singing practice, playing sports, songwriting, at a party, outfit shopping

Shifty lil guy. Thats all he is.

Shifty | They/he | INTJ | Queer | Human | Age | 175cm / 5’9

If I'm being honest, they didn't have a name till I made the collage. I just referred to him as 'shifty lil guy' until then. Hence the strange name. Shifty is a street artist known for making giant colourful murals, although their face isn't known to the public - or the police. In person he's sarcastic and rude, honestly a little nasty. They know they're a great artist and he acts like that puts them above others. They're infatuated with not just street art, but coding and loves attempting to break through firewalls and into protected files - simply to prove that he can. He also has a pretty severe internet addiction, and spends most of his days scrolling forums and social media whilst sketching out new mural designs. They're a total recluse and practically nocturnal, but always has time for small fluffy animals - especially cats. Shifty is his pseudonym but they refuse to be called anything else. Unemployed final boss.

Common attributes/symbols: Cat motifs, excessive or clashing patterns, bells

Common activities/hobbies: On a device, with a cat/cats, spraypainting, sketching, sewing clothes.

Setting: Modern. They own a house but live almost exclusively in the basement.

Jules, my little unused Vtuber concept <3

Jules | He/him | ISTP | Gay | Pangolin hybrid | 20 | 167cm/ 5’6

Jules is technically my vtuber concept, although I’ll more than likely never debut nor make videos lol. He’s a joyful, if not a bit ditsy, pangolin hybrid that grew up in a circus. Although, as he grew up, it became apparent that his clumsy nature and inability to grasp social cues didn’t exactly make him fit to be a performer, and he didn’t have the comedic timing to be a clown. Nevertheless, he’s still a valued cheerleader and part of his circus family. He loves to play games, physical and video, and thoroughly enjoys dressing up in all sorts of outfits - especially if they have little hats and pretty frills. He loves any foods with strawberries and cream in them, and adores all kinds of weird and unusual animals. He’s generally high-spirited and a go-getter, if not a little shy at first. 

Common attributes/symbols: Frills, small hats, blues and oranges.

Common activities/hobbies: Performing in a circus, blowing bubbles. Playing games, window shopping

Setting: A modern day circus OR a gaming room/setup.

Zoe!! One of my newer ocs but quickly becoming a favourite!

Zoe | she/her | ISFJ | Abrosexual | Animal Shifter | 15 | 157cm/ 5’2

Zoe is a headstrong and energetic girl stuck in a large city. In a world that believes shifters are dangerous and lack control, that teaches them shame and to hide, she rejects that entirely. She’s a snow leopard shifter - although she’d call herself a human shifter. In a rejection of societal standards, she says that she is a snow leopard who can turn into a human, rather than the other way around. Her animal side is just as her as her human side, and no one is going to shame her into believing otherwise. She’s young and a bit naive, and doesn’t know how to go about changing the world, but tries her best to encourage other shifters to embrace both sides of themself and live without shame. She’s high-spirited and fiery, with a love of sports and bakery treats.

Common attributes/symbols: Her snow leopard hat/glove combo, the dots under her eyes, the painted on nose.

Common activities/hobbies: Running free in the wild, Hanging around a cafe, out in the city, at an underground concert.

Setting: A solarpunk world with dedicated bio-domes and city-domes dedicated to preserving life and human safety.

Additional stuff to keep in mind: She can shift into a snow leopard - you can draw her as such! The dots under her eyes are strange but natural, a birthmark of sorts, and her animal form has matching spots in the same place. She is always dressed in spots/rosettes and with her hat and face paint - she’s making a statement.

Frankie! My darling persona

Frankie | He/him | ISTP | Gay/aroace | Frankenpup | 18 | 165cm / 5’5

Frankie is my persona, but I love his design and sort of see him as a character separate from myself so I wanted to include him! He’s a reanimated dog boy, stitched together patchwork style. He’s a lover of oversized comfy clothes and the colours orange and blue. He’s a tired guy, often sleepy or relaxed looking, but has a tendency towards random bursts of hyperactivity. He loves all things nerdy and creative, along with having a strong interest in gardening. 

Common attributes/symbols:  Dog features, stitches, multicoloured curly hair with braids at the bottom, one red and one yellow eye.

Common activities/hobbies: Playing ttrpgs, playing crad games, drawing/collaging, gardening, birdwatching (Special Interest!!).

Setting: You can draw him anywhere, any setting - fantasy/dystopia/modern however.

Valentine | She/her | lesbian | ENFJ | Human | 26 | 162cm / 5’4

Val is a uni student plagued by the arrival of gods in her school - something about ‘their creator believing they are unempathetic and must live the human experience to grow’ or whatever. The worst part is, she’s the only one that knows what her newfound friends really are. She tries to be bubbly and welcoming to everyone, although has a tendency to be judgemental if you come across as rude. She’s a natural leader, naturally intuitive and a very dedicated worker. She loves light pastel colours, earthy tones and anything frilly or flowy; she also has a love of strawberry motifs in her outfits. 

Common attributes/symbols: Strawberry and heart motifs, pinks/reds, pearls

Common activities/hobbies: going on picnics, competitive boardgames, scrapbooking/journalling, studying T_T

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
