I've been working on this drawing for a week, and finally, it's finished!

Here is my entry for @caelumcae 's DTIYS on instagram, where we were supposed to go with a Jayvik from one of their AUs, and I chose to do their Zombies AU, with a healthy carrier Viktor, and a Jayce who tries to protect him at all costs.

I imagine they just survived an attack, and they found a shelter in an old moldy motel room or something like that

I've been a little insane with the background, I cried a little, but I'm quite proud of the result, and I hope they like it!

I really do love the idea of viktor with long hair cause that bitch was gorgeous don’t even get me started. But I also think abput the fact that in the arcane when we see him interact with sky, sith Vander, wuth Jayce he has short hair. Because he’s neglecting his body on the outside (ie. not cutting his hair, only helping others and ignoring his bodies limits) but on the inside he sees himself as who he was when he met Jayce and probably even some tjme before that. He was healthier, fuller figure and had more time and energy to take care of himself. He cut his hair, ate more. Blah blah blah. Which is why he imagines himself that way. The perfect version of himself is a version he’s actively caring for. So long hair viktor may be a possibility in the future for him, but when he died he died with short hair and a huge amount of guilt for his actions. So I like the idea that when viktor and Jayce wake up in a place unknown to them. The first thing viktor wants is to find something sharp and have Jayce slice off his hair. And he does. It’s messy, choppy and bad in all the right and wrong places. But the long hair is gone, as well as the arcane and viktor feels like himself again. When they finally find some proper scissors they both cut their hair short like it was when they first met and they feel like young men falling in love all over again witb each other and their new life.
