i can’t complain about how fucked up my self esteem is without people telling me how smart i am and it’s like no! stop! YOU’RE THE REASON MY SELF ESTEEM IS FUCKED UP!
don’t tell me how smart i am, don’t tell me how good i am at things. tell me that my value as a person doesn’t change when i fail. that i’d be just as important if nobody thought i was smart.
