I always had a headcanon that Euphemia had a miscarriage before James as well!
James potentially having been Euphemia and Fleamont’s rainbow baby after suffering from a miscarriage or stillbirth of a child they weren’t given the chance to see grow.

Oh, wait, I have seen it as well! 'decennia', right?
Socorro Rosier?
What inspired you to select ‘Socorro’ as her first name?
How is she related to Druella Rosier?
I found a blog that had an oc named Socorro who married into the Rosier family. From that point on, I fell in love with the idea of creating my own original character with the same name because of how sharp and unique it was.
Socorro doesn’t have an exact relation to Druella, but she was probably a cousin or something. I like to think of her as a Knight of Walpurgis, in place of a male Rosier senior.
She went to Beauxbatons and allied herself with Tom Riddle in their early adulthood after they both graduated from school.

Hugh Bonneville as Theodosius Osmund Nott, a nephew of Cantankerous Nott, who authored the "Sacred Twenty-Eight." He was the only child of Amadeus and Euphräilde Gage, and the oldest grandchild of Amadeus Nott, an illustrious potioneer.
Theodosius - Latinized form of the Greek name Θεοδόσιος (Theodosios) meaning "giving to god", derived from θεός (theos) meaning "god" and δόσις (dosis) meaning "giving". Osmund - From the Old English elements os "god" and mund "protection". During the Anglo-Saxon period, a Norse cognate, Ásmundr, was also used in England, and another version was imported by the Normans. Nott - "night" (Old Norse origin) or possibly "knot" or "compact" (Old English origin) The surname Nott could be derived from this mythological root or may also come from Old English cnotta meaning “knot,” possibly referring to someone with knotted hair or a symbolic association with binding or agreements.

I named a character Cecilia which meant "blind" and now I'm panicking whether they would like it or not.
(i imagine) naming characters is harder than naming actual human children. what if the vibe is wrong? what if they hate it?

Continuation from previous post:
Black family meetings for Calpurnia are often uncomfortable times. She finds her uncle, Orion "too uptight", her Aunt Walburga "too zealous", yet she manages to get along with her cousins, Sirius and Regulus till they enter Hogwarts.

introducing Calpurnia Lucretia Prewett!
FC: Rebecca Hall
Lucretia Prewett (née Black) despite being married to Ignatius Prewett since 1940, didn't have children.
Sure, she doted on her nephews Sirius and Regulus but their mother, Walburga's influence was strong on them. She often longed to have a child of her own to dote, yet the idea of possibly treating the child like her father did, terrified the poor woman.
Basically, she is the only child of Lucretia Black and Ignatius Prewett, making her cousins with Sirius and Regulus as well as Molly, Fabian and Gideon.
Calpurnia - A feminine name of Latin origin, Calpurnia means “chalice” or “cup.” I kind of choose this name since it goes well with the name Lucretia a lot. Also, this name was also given to Julius Caesar's wife.
Lucretia - It means “gain,” “profit,” or “wealth”. You know, after her mom, Lucretia.
Prewett - this is what the wiki says:
The surname Prewett is Welsh in origin. It is derived from the Middle English word prou, meaning "brave" or "valiant", and the suffix "-et", which implies smallness. Thus, it is believed to be derived from a nickname for someone small, but brave.
Anyway, that's her! My first OC.
