I love this snack sold in Japan. Each bontan citrus chew is wrapped in a clear edible film. I love seeing each candy in its wrapper and it also gives an interesting texture with you bite into one and let it dissolve in your mouth. The retro look of the box is also great ☁️🍊☁️

The only acceptable ads should be shit like "groceries on sale" and "free event at the local library"

Autumn in Japan means trees exploding with citrus fruit and persimmons! Added bonus is the high chance of a coworker and friend sharing the bounty from their garden. The crisp air with orange and yellow pop against the dazzlingly clear blue sky! Yum! I am revived 🍋🍊 ☁️✨

the worst is wanting to create and create and create but being trapped in a body that is so so so so tired

I am a big fan of Japan's effort of making a cute character to grace even the most humble of products, such as veggies. Green pepper dragon 🐲 advertises Ibaraki prefecture grown green peppers and tomato costumed Kumamon is stamped on a tomato box 🍅. Actually, given the choice I would opt for unpackaged produce, but these characters do always make me smile.

I just realized that the kanji for bone, 「骨」, looks like a little skeleton fella, and I can't get over it...

Suddenly noticed that I was the only passenger last night on the tobu tojo line. I am used to the cramped train rides home where standing is my only option, but feeling unrushed took the local train instead of the express from Tokyo. Trying to opt for slower options in my daily life- such as walking instead of biking to work, and it has given me a little more room to be peaceful. I think I have reached a point I want to edit instead of add at least until I have found my equilibrium again. Embracing the wintery cocooning season even though there is no snow where I live and things seem to remain in constant motion.
